No, I have not. Thank you

Make sure you want to sit behind a desk for hours on end and work with people that lack interpersonal skills.

And the IA prog wouldn't get me the same thing?

And if you dont mind me asking what did you end up doing instead? Did you use your ISDS degree at all?
Thank you!

Not what I meant. Large firms are severly lackig in diversity, and makig sure there are more women is a priority.

Just joking around, but it is good to know they look for diversity!
I think I can find my niche with ISDS, maybe not the acct side of it. Most exciting thing to do with ISDS in your opinion?
I'll 150 hours bc I'm switching majors. My other credit hours are nursing prereqs.

What do you think just an ISDS degree will get me?
I'm a female... someone told me that will hinder me others have said it will make me marketable. Your thoughts?
MS, I wonder how the CIA prog is now. Read many posts about it being the shi*t in 2008ish. I also wonder if ISDS is what it once was as well. How would I even get that info? I'm seeking online help bc advisors tend to oversell a major IMO.

It is possible to land Big4 with ISDS degree? Interesting.

Lastly, to get into more interesting tech work would that be a path with ISDS and AI as you mentioned?
Bandit, is this ISDS with a MINOR in IA or doing the CIA prog? Location is Baton Rouge. Starting salary of 55-65K would be amazing though!
Tshiz, I have thought heavily about accounting. I am signed up for an accounting class and will see if I enjoy it. I've heard about how accounting will be obsolete because computers will take it over & its incredibly boring with no reward. Any thoughts on that?
Thank you for your reply! So it would be quicker to go through IA Prog. rather than get a minor in IA? Made this assumption bc you said "Just" lol. Not that I am not willing to spend time in college, its that I am running out of money and need to get a "real job" soon. I am more than willing to go back and get a MS in Analytics (which sounds awesome by the way, thx for the suggestion), but I need to get finish a Bach. soon. Are there decently paid job opportunities with just an ISDS degree? Idk what you majored in but would an ISDS degree make me eligible to sit for CPA? I will have the 150 hrs covered by the time I graduate.
I'm good at science, but it bores me. I can deal with a little more science, but I can't major in it. I've never been good at math, but I like math and stats... Numbers interest me as long as I can see what they represent in the real world. What do yall think of the business majors offered at LSU? I have an interest in all of them. Right now, I am leaning towards ISDS+IA minor. Has anyone followed a similar path? What is job outlook and salary like? I know I wont bust out of LSU making 80K, but I would like to know a decent salary is possible with this degree. Thank you!
Oh noo! I am wanting to do finance. What makes it worthless to you? would you suggest accounting instead.
