Well, the R0 for coronavirus is looking to be higher than your typical influenza. This particular virus seems to transfer at an alarming rate comparatively to influenza. Part of that maybe a result of the extended asymptotic period accompanied with the coronavirus.

Either way, this will all blow over in a couple months after people get bored of talking about it. The virus will still exist, but people will stop caring lol. I don’t think the U.S. will pull an Italy either. I’m interested to see how this pandemic compares to swine flu in the end.
