82 tenn game was my first game. the birth of the dalton and james gang. that tenn team was loaded reggie white and willie gault

forgot about RW, but Gault I recall, he returned KO 100+ yards and I mean no one was close to catching him (and L Hobley was not slow)...
thanks for finding and posting the article, sounds like we just missed a FG late, if I recall it was over the post so it was called no good, but it was a long time ago...doubt there is video and I guess even if it was good we cant change it now! but would have been our first win over #1 and we all waited until 1997 for that...

1989 A&M, I know it started with a kick off return for TD and we never recovered from that,
LSU and Ole Miss is always a hard fought game regardless of records. Outside of a few blowouts, this rivalry still lives up to its historic significance. Old Row and Barstool loves this game. Its like one of their favorite games of the year to cover.

would like to see the real stat on this but do not think it is true...14 seems about right
I know it's stupid to let the actions of 18-22 year old boys affect my health on a weekly basis. Misery loves company, so please chime in to let me know I'm not the only one out there.

100% correct and I am guilty of this as well, but we were never behind and let by 10+ points for over half the game...Miami and USL were never in doubt after half..but I get it, as a fan I do not feel any lead is safe...OSU 1988 still hurts..
ok, I'm old, but that only means I will likely die well before most of you, but these are real questions, help an old man out?
Ok, I'm ready to stop lurking and start posting, sure I will earn my share of abuse (from someone other than my ex and my current). So here it goes, went to my first LSU game in 1976, love the Tigers, did not go to LSU, but grew up here and like to think I am a big fan (not as big as some of you), so a few unanswered questions from my memories and appreciate any help, sorry if this is German (I don't even know what this means but know I don't want to be accused of it).

1) my first game was 1976 Nebraska, they were (I think) #1 and we tied them, lots of talk at the time that one of our missed fg's was a bad call, has anyone seen video of this and/or know anything more? ( I figured this fist question makes me a good ranter, complaining about a tie game 42 years ago)

2) In 1982 tie with TN, same question, missed fg's?

3) Do we know if there was a brawl on the plane way home from 1989 loss to UK?

4) 1989 question again (was a tough year for LSU) did someone steal the playbook from A&M and did we blame that on our loss to them?

I will await my abuse...thanks
