The fact that you place such a large emphasis on preseason rank tells me you’re a retard.

Coming from a member of a fan base who thinks blue-chip ratio means anything.

I don't take much stock into our ranking, #8 is too high. But to think that your team led by an inexperienced QB is going to steamroll our talented side blows my mind.

Fixed it for you

You took my comment out of context clearly, please refer to the top of the thread where I am completely aware of the fact that my team may very well lose this game.

Your argument was talent level so I gave you a information that explains that, we do in fact, have more talent. You said nothing of the coaching staffs.

Recruiting prowess doesn't equate to on the field success 100% of the time. As a Miami fan, well aware of that fact. I didn't argue about talent level at all, I said they were about equal. Our 22 guys stack up decently well to your 22, we have blue chips riding the pine, so who cares?

I'll see your link and raise you a link

More useless statistics. Florida State and Texas won 7 games last year and you guys won 9. We smoked ND. Your coaching staff is subpar and that's where this game will be won.

Get out of here with blue-chip ratio.

I can't see LSU losing this. It's crazy how the odds are sliding though. Even over here in ireland you get 250euro back on a 100euro bet. They're drifting in price by the day.

Miami have a lot of money riding on them.

More delusion lol. You can't see a scenario where LSU, who lost to Troy a year ago, loses to the #8 ranked team who won 10 games last year and is returning 80% of starters. My goodness!

Because it’s not. LSU Ranks #6 in Team Talent, Miami Ranks #16...

You see, you're using 247's composite rankings as your dataset. Sure, you have had better recruiting classes but our talent is spread out among the whole team, you guys are top-heavy in defensive talent.

At this point a score like 20 to 13 LSU seems appropriate. I just don't see many points being scored against our defense. If Miami scores a touchdown it's going to be early with Fulton out (not starting) and Dave Aranda taken off guard early. After Aranda adjust, and he always does, it will be lights out for the Miami offense.

I feel that most of our fan base has the same mentality as you (except, in our favor of course). If Richt and Rosier can find a rhythm, we can put some points up and hang our hats on the D as well. First to 20 wins?

You can continue to laugh, but it is off-base.
Not really sure which fan base is more delusional right now. You're grasping at straws taking a Vegas prediction as canon. If that were the case, I'd be a very rich man.

If you think either team is scoring o24.5 points, you're out of your mind and if you think you're beating the #8 RANKED Canes by 14+ you're bordering on insane asylum level shenanigans.

The reality is this game is going to be settled between 3-6 points, one way or the other... if you think LSU is going to win that's fine, talent level is about equal so its a fair assumption.
