If he is QB coach and Peetz and Mangas OC and PGC respectively then they will have to get rid of Mickey Joseph. You can only have 10 coaches.

I thought it was a slam dunk and Callaway was added to coaching staff. If they hire Peetz and Mangas then what about Callaway?

Yeah I noticed the same thing. When Coach O had his press conference he mentioned Finley and Johnson pretty prominently and barely at the end mentioned Parrish. It wouldn’t surprise me if he enters transfer portal.

Is there a difference between Director of Player Personnel and Director of Player Development? The LSU site had Kevin Faulk as Director of Player Development. I think they have different duties. I know Jeff Martin is the Lead Player Personnel Analyst and David Bowen and Collin D'Angelo are both Assistant Directors of Player Personnel. Just wondering. Thanks

Derek Shay is supposed to be a Graduate Assistant coaching the Tight Ends. Some people like to know this stuff. The analysts free the coaches up to concentrate on the players and game planning.

Did he ever come on board? Just wondering because I didn't see an official announcement, just that he was expecting to join the staff. Any other word on anymore analysts being hired to replace Roy Anderson and Kevin Cosgrove? Thanks

I was wondering what positions the analysts work with. I'm guessing Offense- Russ Callaway-Passing Game, Tyler Tettleton-QB, Carter Sheridan-WR, D.J. Mangas-?, Mark Hutson-O-Line and Tyler Spotts-Orgeron-TE. Defense- Donald D'Alesio-D-Line,
Kevin Coyle-Cornerbacks, Roy Anderson-Safeties, Caleb Young-Linebackers, Aaron Schwan-?, August Mangin-? Also what about the Graduate Assistants? Thanks

I know that he is Tommy's son but I was reading an article in the Advocate and it implied he is a walk-on. I thought he had a scholarship. It seems on signing day they said he was signed to a scholarship. Does anyone know. Just curious because I like to know who is on scholarship and who is a walk-on. Thanks

Von Rosenberg was on scholarship last year. I remember seeing an article in the Advocate last year along with 3 other guys who have since graduated. Maybe he doesn't have it this year.

I'm pretty sure that Joseph's spot has been filled but we have 86 players on scholarship unless Connor Culp, Aaron Moffitt or Zach Von Rosenberg is off scholarship.
