My dad would always tell me DH Sr. was a bad man for the Tigers and the Saints. Played with his son, Dalton Hilliard Jr., in high school at Brother Martin. Was about 5'-6" but outran everybody on the field. He was clocked at a 4.22 or 4.25 40 ( I forget, but he was fast). He had big legs like his dad and could squat 500 lbs. When he ran, every stride was like 4 yards - he glided across the field. It was a pleasure watching him. I truly believe if he was a few inches taller, he could've gone D1.

Dalton Jr. unfortunately died of cancer in 2020. RIP.

ETA: We couldnt pass the ball at all, so Jr. did most of the heavy lifting. Led us to a perfect district season.

Was in the same frat as him while at LSU. We’re the same age and became good friends during school. Super good dude who was a football nerd. We chat every blue moon and he still lives and breathes LSU. He would probably come back.
At least it was consistent with LSU non-catch last night. Had to maintain control through the ground.
Chris Sciambra's wife and mine have become good friends here in Houston. When she told me his name, I easily recognized it and realized we were at LSU at the same time and ended up reconnecting—we’ve played golf a few times and had a couple of family dinners together. He and his family moved back to Baton Rouge, I believe just before the new year. They’ve got a three-year-old son and recently welcomed a baby girl.

Chris is just a genuinely great guy. We're hoping to make a trip to BR sometime to visit them.

His wife is a Bama alum, but to her credit, she’s a pretty passionate LSU supporter—at least when Bama’s not playing...
Man, our NIL is lacking terribly.
