Grooomer's seafood would be the only company in San Antonio that I know of who would have them. I know they have them in late summer not sure if they will have them now.
Is that how they make gumbo in Livonia? Are you still in BR?
Bug this is a horrible question, be a man and make your own stock its much better. Granted it does take a lot of extra work but its worth it.

Chunky's burgers are horrible but the 4 horseman burger is legit, have seen a few people try it and not even come close to finishing it.

I would stay away from most of the river walk stuff mostley tourist trap stuff but there are exception. Boudro's is legit along with a couple others downtown. I am not a fan of Mi Tierras, there are to many great hole in the wall mexican places and even upscale mexican to eat there, But it does get a ton of business. Most of the new trendy restaurants are on the north side of town in Stone Oak area, they have some really good new places up there but I hardly make it up that way. San Antonio has a lot of 'institutions" not all of them are good but they are all known for something.

I also live in SA and put on a crawfish boil every year. I end up driving back to Louisiana to get them only because we usually boil over 300lbs and that makes it worth while. I have gotten them from the HEB at I-10 and Wurzbach, the manager will order them for you, but they were really small and for the cost not worth it. Other than that your options are places in Houston or the crawfish farm outside Beaumont. Hope it helps.. Glad more pleople are boiling crawfish in SA

Man you need to get off the river walk... La Margarita is not good mexican food, just seems good to tourist who do not know any better..
As far as an LSU bar goes there are none.. There is a small group who gets together for football but other than that its all aggies and UT
As sad as it is he's right... LSU is catching up in academics but as far as college towns we are nowhere close to Athens.
PK - Browndyke hands down
P- Kessler (all-american 1997, hold the NCAA record for punting average 50.3 yds... granted whitten did pooch punt so he just bombed away, but still impresive)
