i'm not saying any of you are wrong, continue to prove me wrong. this is my personal opinion.

They are badass, don't get me wrong. but I honestly believe that today's team wouldnt stand a chance against the 2003 team. they just seem like they dont play with the chip on their shoulder like they used to.

True...

Domination

Posted by SeksPanther on 6/5/11 at 11:09 am
After watching the the that The Truth 34 posted of the LSU/UGA 2003 game, i began to wonder. Think we will ever be as dominant? Before Saban left for what he thought was bigger and better things, he was well on his way to building one of the most powerful dynasties since Caesar. LSU would have been unstoppable for several years. Do you think we will see another team that good? Do you think you will see another LSU team that didnt just go in and win, but go in and completely dominate everyone else? Unlike today, where every play was exciting because you don't kno what's going to happen next. But then, every play was exciting because you didnt know which tiger was going to rip the head head off of an opposing player, or which offensive player was going to break it big. I haven' seen this since Saban left.
ground fighting s much harder to do than what you see. I have 12 years martial arts experiance, and i got my arse worked by a friend with half my karate experiece, 3 years BJJ, and fought amatuer ma for of those years. just a few weeks of jiu jitsu lessons, i can now recognize what most people call nothing, but is actually working their asses off

This is what kills me about LSU fans. Have you not learned to NOT bet on LSU's games? Tere is a reason they've been given the name "Cardiac Cats". They have the talent to go undefeated, but will squeeze by every team(good or bad) by the short and curlies.
Yea well you forgt that the usfl is going to take over the #1 spot and force the nfl to go bankrupt

I disagree, pedobears, child rapists, molestors are the lowest. this is second.

You're a sandy vagina!

but that's all i was saying, is it that much more special bc he did it?
I'm hearing chris farley's goofy laugh followed by him saying "What an idot."
The reason I posted this is bc of Reggie bush giving up his award pissed me off. I know that's Heisman committee and not NCAA but nothing happens to these guys who were good but didn't win any awards. i think you should be fined or something if you are caught. younger players banned from NCAA.
what dealer would loan a 350z? i could understand a ferrari dealer loaning you another ferrari and not a pinto. but, who loans a 350z instead of an altima or maxima or something cheaper?

re: Controlling improper benefits?

I'm not just talking about the schools paying them, i'm talking about the "donations", "loner" cars, stuff like that.

Controlling improper benefits?

Posted by SeksPanther on 6/2/11 at 12:02 pm
If you are against college players getting paid/ improper benefits, how do you police it? What could you do to put an end to it that will affect players past and present?

I know there is a ways to stop freshman and sophmores, but what about the juniors and seniors that have proven themselves to be nfl ready? Also, how would it be possible to penalize players found guilty after they make it to the NFL?
Why is Joe Alleva making a hole in one so much cooler than any other schmo doing it? not to be an a-hole but damn. that's like going watch the queen or the president take a dump, why is it so much more special than anyone else?
Eli was way too good for ole miss, He if he'd been on a better team, he'd have a national championship too. I don't hate Archie for sending his kids somewhere else, and no he isn't obligated to do a damn hing for the saints anymore.

re: Spurrier wants to pay players...

Posted by SeksPanther on 6/2/11 at 10:03 am to
I'm not saying it was a good idea, i just said i'm not against it.

OK, so another question.

Unlike players like Reggie bush, the non-award winners. if the NCAA finds out after they go pro that they received improper benefits, what happens? of course the award winners will be stripped of their awards, but what about the others?
We should get those annoying arse vuvuzelas(sp? like at world cup!!! lol
B Rex, Why are you hating? it's not coming from the school. the money will come directly from the football program's revenue. Also, it will help deter them from taking money and other things from outside sources. Miles, Nutt, Muschamp (sp?), Saban, and Mullen all agree.

I'm not against players getting "donations", They need to be rewarded for being great, and it will surely make the mediocre players play harder so they can get the same benefits. I know a lot of parents who pay their kids for good grades, what's the difference?

Spurrier wants to pay players...

Posted by SeksPanther on 6/2/11 at 9:40 am
Not sure if this was posted yet, but i just read that Spurrier has written a proposal to the SEC and the NCAA asking permission to pay 70 players $300 per game. I'm all for this, what do you think?

LINK
good point, pryor gets held to a higher standard bc he's close to heisman worthy, team captain, 2 time bcs bowl mvp, but still a kid. but they are trying to get harsher penalties until they decide to stop.

as for tressel, he got in trouble for not reporting the infractions to the ncaa. HE HANDLED IT HIMSELF!!!! tell me, if your kid comes home late one night drunk or high, are you going to call the cops on them? no, you are going to beat their arse. That's all he did on some of these cases.

What song was banned from tiger stadium bc the words kept getting changed to something obscene? We were talking about it at work but cannot think of the damn song.
You know what I love about TD? It's a convention of some of the funniest MFers who make the most epic comments in the world. some of the comments on here have me laughing til i tear up.
