63... great memories! Grew up in BR, started going to games in 1962. Remember many favorites like Joe Labruzzo, Sammy Grezaffie, Nelson Stokley, John Garlington, Art Cantrelle, Casanova, Mike Anderson, Andy Hamilton, Bert Jones. Stretched time at LSU to 5-1/2 years, so got 6 football seasons in as a student. Lived in Johnson Hall as a freshman. Would begin lining up at stadium at 4 pm to get in 7 pm game on student ID. Not sure how we survived those days. Great times!
