From what I understand of the situation, Goldmond, one month into 18, the female was one month from 16, should have never been arrested, officer should have gone by the calendar, the law states two or three years from the calendar, which the two were not 3 years, but no greater that four years, for misdemeanor carnal knowledge but I am unsure, this is how a friend lawyer explained it to me, the cop was supposed to go off of more that oh she is 15 and he is 18. I am not sure though.. I am not a lawyer.

Everything reported on the news is not factual so don't take everything you hear or read to heart. Sometimes they report without actually finding out the true facts, a report is just that, a report of the events that someone gathered, that is why a party is considered innocent until proven guilty, the evidence must be evaluated.
