Rosedale has not changed much and Parker still runs it. They actually had memberships open the past two years. Heard one of the members say it is the first time they had open memberships in over 20 years. With the way the river rises and falls so frequently people are getting tired of fighting it
Thanks. The host I used to go with got out about 20 years ago, he and I lost touch, so I didn't know if it had been sold or what.
Had many a good time out there for sure.
So much history out there too. The elder Parker's, who passed away on the island while trying to jump start a dozer from it's track, name came up when the Henry Dee and Charles Moore cold case re-opened.

Palmyra has two draws every day. The map is divided into section-no idea on acreage. My host has gotten his choices every time I've been there. He does a bit more scouting than most and doesn't hunt the towers
I spent alot of time there as a guest in my late teens and 20s (1980s and early 90s mainly).
Had a ton of fun times there, and not just deer hunting.
For a young man used to North Central piney woods deer hunting, that place was a paradise even then.
My host had his own camp but we'd also spend time in the big camp in the evenings. Poker games, slot machines, Coke machines with beer stocked in them. And amazing stories from some of the older members about the hunting there in the late 60s and 70s.
Good times.

'Ol Emotiotrumpslogic's ban bet spiel didn't work here so he's trying it over on LouisianaSportsline. Except he's already welched on a ban bet there once before.
