re: LSU's Reported Recruiting Pissing Contest With Texas Is Petty And Cruel

Your ever seen the WWII cartoon with the German child and his father looking at a map with Germany, Soviet Union and the US
The kid sees the size of Germany compared to the US and the Soviet Union
So he questions his father by asking him What was Hitler thinking
To simplify this for your Louisiana mind
What was LSU thinking?

LSU should know a thing or two about surviving bad seasons
At least UT hasn't went though the humiliation of losing to Tulane back to back seasons
How did you LSU fans get through your multiple down periods in your history

Your university is so insecure about the University of Texas you would sell your soul to the devil just to FEEL like you are superior
That is the difference between UT and A&M
UT survives on results
A&M survives on delusional dreams
Drink some more of that SEC Koolaid while the SEC is stealing our players behind your back
A&M should be all for pushing the Sabine River East but your insecurities prevent this from happening

Laugh away then
But if you have not noticed UT is attempting to clean up your mess
Does not sound like a little brother to me does it

Cool story bro
But this is about UT and LSU
Funny thing is A&M cannot resist but come here and spread their College Station propaganda that they have somehow became the real university of Texas
Thing is A&M had 110 years on the football field to do so and could not

Where do you get your information
From the UNL media guide
The truth is if UT did not join the Big 8 Mizzou would have went into the BIG and CU would have went into the PAC 10 in the early 90's
The Big 8 needed the Texas TV markets so without UT those universities left in the Big 8 would have pretty much been either absorbed into other conferences or would have went to lesser conferences like the MWC

Where would the piggies and A&M hide at if UT joined
As much as I enjoy being verbally abused by the toothless hillbillies of Arkansas whenever UT visits Fayetteville I think most of the people involved with UT would pass on visiting the Ozarks

How about Texas stays in the Big XII and earns more money than any of the universities in the SEC

But you refused access to Baton Rouge local high school legend Major Applewhite
Now high school players in BR think that LSU would turn their back on them just because they coach at another university.
Not a good idea to upset the people at Catholic High School

An idiot to one may not be an idiot to all
I live by that motto because if every one thought I was smart it usually means I am thinking between the boundaries
At my alma mater we have this saying
"What starts here changes the world"

You are missing the point
Put Rodgers with the Niners and Smith with the Packers as soon as the draft was over
Do you believe that they would a) Turn out the same b) Switch places c) Rodgers would be better and Smith worse d) Both become Pro Bowlers
I say b possibly with a 85% chance
d) 15% chance

I believe Rodgers was underrated because of Jeff Tedford
There was a belief that Jeff Tedford QB's failed in the NFL. Akili Smith, Joey Harrington, David Carr and Kyle Boller
More importantly Rodgers was able to sit and wait under Farve. Rodgers except for his rookie year has had the same head coach. This has allowed Rodgers to grow into the system. Like Brady Rodgers knows the playbook inside and out and knows how to adjust to the defense.
We have seen what Alex Smith can do when he is comfortable. You have to understand the pressure that Smith was under his first 4 or 5 seasons. The entire Niner fanbase hated this guy and was constantly booed by his own fans until Harbaugh came in 2011.

I have not seen him play.
I might have to take a trip to San Jose to watch him in November.
From all the reports he is a great QB.
He was just from a small farm town in the Central Valley so he was not heavily recruited
I do not understand how Fresno State missed this kid right under their nose
Maybe it is a change from when Pat Hill stopped coaching but when Hill was there he scooped up everyone from the Valley

I am not sure you can say that
Everyone has different theories about QB's but from what I have seen there are few and they are far between that can win and have success no matter the coaches or personal.
Most QB's are a product of the system and longer they are allowed to find success in a system the more they understand the playbook and more importantly the more confidence they have
Since I live on the California Central Coast I interact with a lot of Niner fans and they have this belief that if they drafted Aaron Rodgers instead of Alex Smith they would have won 4 Super Bowls by now
I think they are delusional as Alex Smith was dealt a shitty hand by the Niners. From having defensive minded coaches until Harbaugh to having different offensive coordinators almost every season until Harbaugh arrived

Problem was for 3 of the QB's they had new offensive coordinators their final season
Hackenberg, Snead and Jones
With Barkley there was a power struggle with Kiffin and USC's offensive coordinator. Kiffin started calling plays I believe during the Stanford game
The Stanford game was what killed Kiffin at USC and Matt Barkley's draft status

They already have Browning as a first round pick next year in 2018 Mock drafts
If he leaves or stays is up to him but to say he doesn't have a NFL arm is a stretch

The Jets believed in him enough to spend a high draft pick on him
Plus he should be their starter come September

The guy can't even complete 60% of his passes in college
I am sure Louisville is not slinging the ball down the field so those are mainly easy passes to complete

YouTube the 2017 Rose Bowl if you doubt Sam Darnold
I may be wrong in my assessment of him but he is the type of QB that comes around every 10 years
A Elway, Manning, Luck or Cam Newton
