You're always good for a show.
Thanks. I work diligently to make sure I present facts.

FACTS:
1. You don't know what you're talking about
2. This isn't a mysterious formation
3. You cannot prove me wrong
I have already proven you wrong, it is not the results of a weapon. And, it is a mysterious formation. You don't understand what proof is.

I already told you what it is. This discussion is completely moot.
No, sir, I checked. We did not have the technology in the 70's to send a weapon to Mars.

Then why did you bring up lava tubes?
Because in the numerous web pages that discuss this, lava tubes are usually brought up.
See, I try to educate myself on a subject before I come in and start discussing it.
It is not a funnel caused by melting ice, which is the only alternative. The hole, according to experts, is too deep.
It is different because the edges are exceptionally smooth (non-natural creation) and it is deeper.
quote:I don't have a geology degree, but I know more about space and other planets than most people. I have studied photos of lava tubes (as well as other holes on Mars) and this is definitely different than those holes.
When did you get your Geology degree?
This is unique in its appearance, and I know it is made by something other than natural forces.
The real question is whether it is actively being used now (doubtful) or if it is an archaeological relic.

NASA has certified and documented this photo - it is definitely real and it is definitely not a lava tube.

How was rehab?
I don't use drugs. I never used drugs (I don't consider weed a drug but I don't smoke any more).

No, I'm not her alter.
Please reinstate her. She made the board more interesting. Everything is politics and sports now.
Thank you for your consideration.

Why do lava tubes need further explanation? They're lava tubes.
You are correct - lava tubes do not need explanation. However, that is definitely NOT a lava tube.
It is a mystery, even to the investigators, but it is no mystery that it is not a lava tube. I know this.

That is the remnant of a NASA experiment done in 1974 where they, along with the CIA and Air Force, tested a new weapon designed to flood cities like Moscow with magma from the earth's core. FACT.
I don't think a weapon would be that smooth. You do raise a poingant issue - have we ever tested a space weapon using Mars (or some other planet)?

That's a lot of snow for Mars. Is their winter opposite of ours?
There is dry ice that turns solid and gas as the temperature changes, but never turns to liquid.
The rest is water ice, as I understand what I read.
Mysterious hole on Mars may be entranceway to ancient civilization

The Mars Reconaissance Rover picked up this unusual hole on Mars' South Pole. It is not disputed that the hole has signs of artificial creation (though Mars admittedly has a lot of unexplained holes around the planet such as lava tubes).
You cannot discount that this could be an existing or past underground civilization, driven underground as Mars' climate changed.

I don't care much for the Grateful Dead, but it should be a really interesting documentary.
I'm in my mid 20's. Sorry.
A single woman over 30 that has never been married before may just be selective.
