I hope your boys will enjoy their "matching" guns! You should post pics of them both when they receive them! Good meeting you today!

Thanks everyone for the replies. In the end I think the gun found it's way to the right place, in the hands of the OP on the previous Nylon 66 build.
So I decided I don't really need the rifle so I was thinking of trying to trade for a .22 pistol. A friend of mine offered to buy it off me but I'd rather try and trade.
Thanks for the suggestions. I'll definitely check that out.
Thanks for the confidence! :)

Remington Nylon 66 broken furniture

Posted by Redryder416 on 6/10/17 at 9:34 pm
So I commented on an old thread about this but I figured I'd start a new one and see what happens.

I have a Remington Nylon 66 and the stock is broken completely off at the safety. In good shape otherwise. I can't see spending what they want for a new stock so I'm contemplating making a wooden one from Walnut or something. The gun has no sentimental value to me. Any suggestions on what to do with it?

I've also seen in several forums that Remington will exchange it + $75 for a different model .22 but I've emailed them and they have yet to answer. Anyone know if that is true?

Thanks for any feedback I get on this. I have several other.22s and I don't even know if I'm going to keep it.
