If all they were doing was just eating dog meat, your argument might have more validity. But the fact is, the Chinese make a special practice of torture and maiming before slaughtering the animals. Roasting and boiling them alive, cutting off their paws after breaking their legs to prevent escape before skinning animals alive and other such gruesome practices because they believe it makes the meat more tender and have more Yang energy. This is not merely a fight over dietary choices.
