no I just know the difference between receiving a discount and stealing.

taking my neighbors bed bath and beyond coupons from her mailbox is effectively getting a discount. Pocketing a scrub daddy and not paying for it using the coupons I received from my neighbor...that is stealing.

Hopefully the potential 15% from this life hack will make up for the time loss

Weird because it only feels like I am getting a discount not stealing

So you steal something that others have earned? Nah, no one would do that and definitely no one would post this garbage on Memorial Day Weekend.

Seriously, this is a horrible, horrible troll attempt. You still need to go frick yourself.

What did I steal, the cashier is the one giving the discount and assuming the question is for myself. If they ask if it is for me then I would say no and let them know I will send my military friends over. again win win

Maybe you should research what Memorial Day is and then realize how big of a piece of shite you are.

Memorial Day is when we honor those who served, get a day off, eat burgers and dogs, and get shithoused drunk. I think you missed the part why this life hack works best on memorial day

Memorial Day Life Hacks

Posted by PimpinAintBreesy on 5/26/17 at 3:07 pm
Hey guys and gals,

Here is a great life hack to do during memorial day weekend (honestly this can work any day of the year if done right). Go into a store, for example Lowes, shop like you normally would and when you get to the register ask the cashier if they do military discounts. Most of the time they assume you are asking for yourself and just apply the military discount. Great thing about this hack is you are just asking a simple question out of curiosity. Win Win

Here we go again. Please link with sources how many millions of people the Confederates gassed, killed, and cremated. Thanks.

To complete your analogy, if the Jews wanted to put up a memorial to the Nazis they should be able to. It was a free country at some point.

you don't see the similarity to having a monument to praise a war General who fought a war to keep a lifestyle where they imprisoned another human life against their will and treated them like a piece of farm equipment could be compared to having a monument to praise a war General who imprisoned another life against their will and treated them like garbage?

quote:

Do me another favor. Can you graphically show me what symbols on these statues were used as propaganda by hate groups?

The statues themselves don't have any, but I honestly don't care if they stay up or go down...I just don't see what the fuss is either way. The confederate flag has become the symbol the hate groups have used and the statues and generals ended up being guilty by association. You leave them up one side views them as praising everything negative that the Civil War was about instead of a memorial for the war itself. You take them down the other side look at it as a removal of history and that Lee/Jackson weren't symbols of hate but a part of history, even though that history promoted slavery. So damned if you do damned if you don't.

quote:

Further, if these figures were used wholesale as figures of hate, then you should believe they need to be removed from history textbooks, no?

what they fought for was to keep the right to enslave another life, spin it however you like but when it comes down to it that is hate right there. but that doesn't mean it should be removed from history books or from being taught in schools. History is history and keeping/removing a meaningless statue won't change that nor should it change it.
I'm not comparing Lee to Hitler. The fact you missed the point makes you literally retarded
No the statues are being removed because a bunch of hillbillies continued to use the Confederate symbols as a symbol of hate instead of treating them as part of US history...so unfortunately for those who have some emotional attachment to an inanimate object that they have little ties to, they are being punished for the actions of a small group...the actual war isn't what is actually offensive, it's those that used it as a symbol of racism that make it offensive.

Would you erect a statue of Hitler or Rommel in front of the JCC and justify it as celebrating the history of WWII?
quote:

So now statues mean nothing?

Sounds good. I am sure you'll be in favor of ripping down MLK and Andrew Jackson too, correct?

If they decide to pull them down then go for it...a statue doesn't make history. I'm not going to all of a sudden forget MLK if there isn't a statue of him. If they start removing them from the history books then there is a problem
quote:

They were put up to remember history. By tearing them down, you are literally tearing down history. There's tons of statues worldwide dedicated to "the losing side". Just two years ago Serbia put up a statue to Gavrilo Princip. Germany has statues of the Kaiser. France has statues of Napoleon. Northern Ireland has statues of Cromwell. This is a BS American PC problem.

Because we need the statues to remember the bloodiest war in US history? The snowflakes need to stop stressing over a statue...just because they were taken down doesn't mean the history is removed.
quote:

I know. Its amazing how many people are offended by history.

Much less history of the losing side??!!?!? I don't know which is worse, those getting offended that the statues are up or those crying that statues of the losing generals are coming down.
It's crazy how a bunch of second place trophies could cause such a stir.

Who the frick are you?

you quoted my user name, doesn't that answer your question...are you sedated at the moment, do you need someone to call you a cab or order an Uber?
quote:

My uncle has to do it every time he gets something done. It's no big deal, just make sure to have a ride. they cant put you in an Uber or cab.

what kind of light weight needs a ride after laughing gas????

It's not just laughing gas. they put him out, and hes an old man

oh I misunderstood, let me rephrase...what kind of wuss needs to be put under for a cleaning???
