Here is a great life hack to do during memorial day weekend (honestly this can work any day of the year if done right). Go into a store, for example Lowes, shop like you normally would and when you get to the register ask the cashier if they do military discounts. Most of the time they assume you are asking for yourself and just apply the military discount. Great thing about this hack is you are just asking a simple question out of curiosity. Win Win

The statues themselves don't have any, but I honestly don't care if they stay up or go down...I just don't see what the fuss is either way. No the statues are being removed because a bunch of hillbillies continued to use the Confederate symbols as a symbol of hate instead of treating them as part of US history...so unfortunately for those who have some emotional attachment to an inanimate object that they have little ties to, they are being punished for the actions of a small group...the actual war isn't what is actually offensive, it's those that used it as a symbol of racism that make it offensive.
Would you erect a statue of Hitler or Rommel in front of the JCC and justify it as celebrating the history of WWII?

If they decide to pull them down then go for it...a statue doesn't make history. I'm not going to all of a sudden forget MLK if there isn't a statue of him. If they start removing them from the history books then there is a problem
