I haven't posted anything here since around 2013 but I have finally gotten fed up enough with this nonsense to speak up. The game experience from what is put on the field to all the BS with how these arrogant a$$ so called security treat the fans is inexcusable. Add to that having to pay full "tradition fund" for obstructed view seats behind the bench is another of the insults we have had to endure to try to watch my school play football. People like this useless Aleva have ruined what was once something quite special. I will give it another season or so but having been a fan since the 1960's, I can honestly tell you that Tiger Stadium is only a shell of it's former self.
Moscow Russia - Matrushka doll with the 2003 NC team players in it. It was in an outdoor market which sold a lot of tourist items -- I bought it!!

Baku Azerbaijan - Sign outside a restaurant which said "Parking for LSU fans only".
Baku, Azerbaijan. There is a restaurant there also that has a sign on the wall that says "Parking for Tiger Fans Only".

It was still a great game but I liked the rematch in the Colliseum better.

The ticket takers at Tiger Stadium that evening were allowing almost anything to go into the stadium. We brought a full sized ice chest with "beverages" into the student section. I don't think that would be allowed today...
Congrats to the Gators. It's LSU's turn to win the BCS next year....
I hope we wear a defense and a QB that throws passes to whatever color LSU wears.

My point exactly. How would that list fare in the SEC? Not well I think.

Not behind the bench. Around 10 yd line -- decent view (especially on that end, no better view).

Actually they are approximately 10 yard line and not bad seats under normal conditions. The seats right behind the bench would surely be horrible. Additionally there is more space so that people are not always stepping on you or dumping food and drink.

Some press on the sideline is ok but hell the ones they put down there Saturday outnumbered the band and were wider than big Herman!!!

I spend plenty on these seats, TAF and tuition for two... No worries -- LSU gets more from me than uncle sam right now.

I expected Jackass replies but hey you make fair points.

Press on sidelines

In the 4th quarter, some LSU official decided to empty the press box of all the reporters and put them on the sidelines. For those of us who sit in the lower seats, this effectively blocks our view of at least part of the field. Is this what we pay tradition fund for? To view the fat rear ends of reporters? I would hope this does not become some tradition....
I remember even that you could hear him over the radio broadcasts in the late 60's and 70's. I remember hearing him in the Stadium through 81 as a student but don't remember hearing him after I graduated.
I found a set of the '03 champs there on a visit to Moscow back in '04. Earlier this year I saw a matrushka of the '07 champs there. There is a park in front of Moscow State University that sells these as well as those of other popular college and pro teams. If you are ever there, it is a wonderful site to visit.

Don't forget about Coach Fran... He is available. Plus I hear he puts out a nice newsletter....
