Yellowstone River/Emmigrant, MT
Posted by jimbob30 on 5/12/25 at 10:18 am
Guys, I am staying in a cabin on the Yellowstone River for a week in June. Would like to catch a few trout while we are there. Not opposed to throwing spinners, as this isn't a fishing trip and time will be limited. Anyone here have any insight? Thanks.

British labs are from working lines. They are not a mixture of English and American labs.
English labs are your shorter, stockier ones that are from show bred lines.
Just giving you some accurate info so you know.

My lab from Mossy Oak in West Point is a great dog. Very calm around the house, but all business when hunting or training. Very smart and has been very easy to train.
Found some two weeks ago in SW MS. Was surprised to see them this early.

Hornady 140 grain interlock BTSP,
Sierra 140 grain game king BTSP,
Remington core lokt 130 grain.
Any traditional cup and core bullet will kill deer efficiently in a lot of different calibers.
If you are losing deer with a 270 win, it’s not the cartridge. Make sure your rifle groups that particular round well. If it does, than practice at shooting better.

Poorly maintained, as in really bad shape. Property is in MS.

Anyone ever have an issue with trespassing cattle on your land? How did you eventually resolve the issue? Thanks.

What are you looking to get for the mule? I currently have a 2022 4010, but would be interested in looking at yours.
I got bored at work one day found Glenn's cabin from the show Life Below Zero. It's up in the Brooks Range.
