This should tell you something about the football intelligence of the average bama fan

Best part about that video was the catcher. It was a terrible decision to eject him. Like many have said, if you're going to hit a guy, it's not going to be 77mph. That catcher though....he's a guy I'd want on my team. That dude is someone who would have your back in a brawl. I thought he was going to hit the ump
re: An apology to my fellow Saints fans and a draft assessment

This is a great post, and I appreciate you apologizing. I know we can all get very heated and passionate.
I agree with your concern with the Kamara pick. We got him at great value, but who will we miss out on next year without a 2nd round pick?
The Anzalone pick was somewhat perplexing, but his injury history includes a bone break which is not a recurring injury so that made me feel better.
I felt better about the Muhammed pick when I found out his "off field issues" were for getting in a fight when he was 19 and illegal benefits. I am not saying he's an angel but I much prefer these "off field issues" than drugs or theft or something like that. I bet a large amount of people who were picked in the draft received illegal benefits and got into a fight at some point. He just got caught.
As for the Hendrickson pick...I had to laugh at his biggest criticism being "short arms" and then they showed he blocked 4 kicks in college. Even if his short arms prevent him from getting sacks, he still shows he can use his athleticism to disrupt the play and at least get pressure on the QB

re: I'm amazed at the seeming apathy towards Marshon Lattimore
Posted by Epcot Tiger on 5/1/17 at 7:38 pm to saintsfan1977
I for once am very excited about the Lattimore pick for a few reasons. I think he is an unbelievable talent and we are lucky he fell to us. People say we need more pass rush, but a large reason we didn't have a strong pass rush last season was because receivers were getting open so quickly. We had a ridiculous amount of DBs get hurt, which only compounded our lack of talent in this position group. Lattimore (and Williams the 2nd round pick) not only give us more talent in that area, but also increase our depth so we aren't having guys start who would normally be on the practice squad. IMO the pass rush will improve if the DBs can give Cam and Co more time to get to the QB. Also, I am SO happy we did not pick a QB in the 1st round. Mahomes is a project, and honestly we have bigger needs right now. Next year there are a lot of better, more ready QBs coming out. We can get better value at QB next year

Have you ever heard of a coverage sack? Good coverage can definitely make d-lineman look better
re: Call of Duty: WWII
Posted by Epcot Tiger on 4/26/17 at 2:20 pm to sicboy
The aspect I am disappointed with is the focus on an only American campaign, taking place from 1944-1945. I would have loved a more diverse campaign truly demonstrating how WWII was a WORLD war. A campaign as the British, Soviets, or even a new perspective as the Germans in 1939-1944 would have been ideal for me, much less including anything in the Pacific theater. They said it would focus on a private in the 1st division (big red one) from DDay to crossing the Rhine. Call of Duty made that campaign already. It was called Call of Duty 2: Big Red One. Overall, I am excited; but I must say my excitement is dampened by such a narrow focus.
re: Who would you take in this scenario?

Solomon Thomas. Jamal Adams would be a great hometown pick but a guy who can rush the passer is a bigger need by far

11-Barnett (unless something crazy happens and a top 5 player drops)
32-Mahomes if available, Cordrea Tankersly (CB from Clemson)
42- Evan Engram

It wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing to get people moving a little bit more, but I would assume there could be an on/off setting for that feature. They could also have settings for how active you want to be. If you want to do everything in person that your character does, then great! If you want to only control the upper body, that works too. If you walk, maybe that could translate to your character running. I do agree that some people would have to build up to the full level of activity

True virtual reality
This sums it up for me. I would love to see full body immersion and VR in games. Hopefully one day we will have the option to move/walk/run in real life to make the character do that in the game. Sports games, shooting games, adventure games, etc would all be so much more immersive
