Don't know anything about those bikes but can you get them to show you a new one on the showroom floor that acts exactly the same? Or do you know someone that has one you can ride? Is this an annoyance or a real problem? I'd have a hard time letting them tear down my brand new bike for an annoyance. No telling what else they will make worse or break. My 2 cents...

If you are sure the gas is on and it won’t run or will only run choked or partially choked drop the bowl on the carb and clean the main jet…It’s the little brass fitting in the bottom of the bowl with a tiny hole in it. Run a piece wire thru the hole. Reassemble and that will probably do it. Careful to preserve the gasket between the bowl and carb body. Also be careful to not knock the float off. You can make sure the float moves up and down freely.

Does the ice maker drain have a p trap? Make sure all p traps in the house have water in them. Run water in all the sinks and tubs and stuff for a minute. P traps prevent sewer gas from backing into the house. P traps can dry up if a drain isn't used for awhile too.

You're more likely to cause issues with introducing air into the system flushing it. I wouldn't do it unless you gotta replace a caliper or something.

When in doubt throw it out(unless you enjoy the sh!ts).
