never forget when he spent several months here hyperventilating like 100 posts a day about the freeze 4 receivers that were about to run the conference, guy loved to bump his own threads, was a real schizo. you know he has had some sad days recently inside his little incel cave. might be time for another alter soon.

nobody ever claimed he has some kind of exclusive deal with bama that says he can't advise other coaches/agents/schools. he does this every offseason. he is a central part of sexton's operation, it's no surprise he was involved in advising a deal like this.
the confusion you seem to be having is that there were lsu fans thinking he was a candidate to work for them, both head coach and athletic director as i recall, which was completely fricking hilarious and delusional obviously.

yes every coach has some bad losses, great point. my point was that, unlike saban for example, kiffin's record against decent teams is actually quite bad. sorry if i didn't word that clearly enough.
i actually really like the hire. had no idea why they were considering durkin, this makes way more sense. will it work out? who knows, but it's a pretty solid hire.
