Pretty much. Try living here. He's the second coming for most. It's always going to be the players faults or other coaches. If our fans thought the Miles love affair was tough, this is going to be worse. Good luck saying anything negative on local social media. I won't even post on my FB right now bc of the ridiculousness of it all.

Screw that! I may hate this decision but I'm an LSU fan regardless. I will still watch every game. I will just need to invest in more alcohol now.
Coach O fans will blame the players instead of game planning like they did after the Florida game. If you know any Coach O fans, get ready. It won't be bc of play calling when we lose. They're going to blame it directly on the players.
I woke up to a text from WWL saying that LSU was ready to announce our new head coach. I got excited, logged on the TD. Came here and see that it's Ed Orgeron. I'm going back to bed. Thanks Alleva for messing up my day before it even started. This sucks.

I agree! Had Miles lost to Florida in the same fashion as O, they would have been calling for his head. Truth be told, if he wasn't from here, they wouldn't want him as head coach.

When I called out the poor playcalling after the Florida game on my FB, only one person agreed with me. The mass of Coach O supporters blamed the players. I was beating a dead horse arguing with those guys. If O gets the coaching job, every loss will be blamed on the players simply bc he is local. I have already experienced it. They are so delusional.

Tell me about it. I wish they would look at the big picture. All they see is that he's local. I couldn't care less where our new coach is from. I want to win. Period. Coach O isn't the guy to lead us there. Just my opinion. Heaven forbid I say that to anyone around here.
I'm an LSU and Saints fan. Yes, I'm a woman (I've read this board long enough so I'll answer the question that will follow: No, I won't post pics. lol) The 420 is my birthday. I don't smoke pot. Although I do get asked if I'm a pot head every time I get carded. Lol
Also, I live in Coach O territory. I think I may be the only person around here that does NOT want him as our head coach. I want Jimbo or Herman. Can't say that out loud here though. I tried it a few days ago and ended up in a huge argument with family and friends. I don't understand the love affair everyone around here has with him. I don't care if he's local. I want LSU football to be dominate again. I want to win the SEC Championship again. I want a National Championship again. IMO, Coach O is not the guy for that. His track record speaks for itself. I hope he can stay on the coaching staff, but definitely not head coach.

Wow! I missed that. I was curious and ventured on to their board to see their thoughts. I think DA and Random are the same person after I saw that.
