If they are anything like the camps Harbaugh has used at Michigan, then no. But if they hold them on campus, then probably. It was bundled with the vote the ncaa just had about early signing periods and the extra assistant coaches. Coaches can participate in clinics and camps for ten days in June and July and they must occur in on-campus facilities.

Stumbled onto this board a year ago when the Jimbo to LSU rumors were in the headlines last year. You guys may have had your man last year if not for extenuating circumstances; looks like you may still have a shot for him this year. My question, though, is that if everything was as in the bag as you claim it is why has FSU done seemingly absolutely nothing over the last couple of days in response?

You reported the contract particulars on the 21st. You seem confident that these are the terms that Fisher accepted. Logically, Fisher would have then let Wilcox the AD or Thrasher the President know any counter offer was unnecessary. It doesn't seem in anything I have read anywhere that FSU has thrown its hat in looking for Fisher's replacement. And when you consider that the admins at FSU would have to mobilize the boosters and such it would leak somewhere that Fisher had moved on.

I mean FSU would have to replace a top five or top ten head coach and most of the staff that would either leave with Fisher or no longer be needed in his absence. And I don't think that Fisher is the kind of guy that would leave the admins holding the bag. The trust he continues to put in some of the less successful members on his staff speaks to this.

On the contrary it seems that two sources close to Gene Williams at Warchant.com claim that there is a handshake deal in place between Fisher and Thrasher as recently as yesterday or Wednesday.

Not trying to troll or bash, even though I know I might get blasted, just wondering if you would like to comment.
