The Big 12 was a great conference when it began until about 2008-09. The fall began when top programs like Texas A&M, Nebraska, Mizzou all left for greener pastures. They threw WV in there but only as a bandaid. I give the Big 12 another 3 years before it folds and the teams split up to the remaining 4.

Big 12 was never a great conference to begin with. The perception is that it sucks because Texas/OU suck. If they traded records with WVU and Baylor right now, people would be comparing the Big 12 with BIG.
