I applied to KCS Wednesday the 21st and received an email this morning to interview Next week.
Yea, I’ve considered that before but t seems harder to get hired with them.

Could you do me a favor and ask your buddy who recently went to KCS where the crew change points are if hired you’re out of New Orleans? I’m also curious about the same if hired out of Baton Rouge.

Any idea when they hired last out of Avondale? Wondering if it’ll be a while before they post something again. I’ve been checking pretty regularly for the past couple weeks.

How much experience is needed if you want to move up, say to a Yardmaster, Trainmaster, etc? Do you have to be with the company a certain time, other positions you have to hold first?
