Both had victories in their grasp and then went full potato. Never go full potato.
Kinda similar. We had a big storm come through. Actually had water coming down a wall in the living room. Called USAA and they sent someone out. This guy was close to 300lbs. First I thought he would damage my roof more and second it was the middle of summer. I was just waiting for him to die. I kept giving him water bottles and Gatorade. Finally he comes down and tells me there’s not enough hail damage. He’ll send in his report and I should here back from USAA soon. I get nothing. Call USAA and they send a different guy. We’re talking in the driveway and my upcoming deployment comes up. He takes a glance at the roof and says yep, you have hail damage and USAA will pay for a new roof :cheers:

I watched it twice actually. My point is a lot of posters on this board are acting like we had no defense. We did. While we gave up the opening drive for a TD. We stopped them the next four time. All while we scored 28 points. Our QB broke a record tonight with how many touchdowns he threw. But most people want to complain about the D. They had almost 5 minutes of time of possession on us. Might not seem a lot but when the offense scores so quickly it makes a difference.

Had a previous commitment so I DVR’D the game. So while checking on this board during the game I figured we had the worst defense in the country. Then I actually watched the game. Afterwards I pulled up the stats. Total yards for Vandy was 374. Anybody who knows football, knows when it’s a blowout the other team is going to get garbage yards. They were 6-17 on third downs and 19-39 completion attempts. That’s pretty good for any defense. All while we used backups. Hell, Orgeron admitted we started the first series with some second string guys. And by the way, we broke an LSU record for how many TD’s scores by a QB. But oh no the sky is falling! Some of you will never be happy.

No. My point was and it may be wrong was bama was taking a bye because we had asked for a bye before playing them. It's a little odd that the last five years we have both had bye's before playing each other

Been an LSU fan my entire life. Have gone to the past four 'Bama games. This year we lost because of our O-line. Not Eitling, not the refs. But, and this is the biggest reason we have lost five in a row. We need to get rid of the bye week before this game. Look at how well Ole Miss and Arkansas does early in the season. We struggle because we are giving Saban two weeks to prepare for us. Even still we play them tough but if we got rid of the bye week before I bet we win at least two of the last three games. Move the bye to after the 'bama game so we can recover and our season is totally different. :geauxtigers:
