I have already said in previous threads that I'm new to this board but I am VERY close to the Baylor coaching staff. I'm honest about that so I don't care that I have few posts. So if you make a negative comment about that, so be it. I've been a Baylor supporter until may 26th came around, & am currently waiting to see what team I will support in December/January

I can also confirm that Briles was contacted after Les got fired. He wasn't the only coach contacted (I'll be honest about that), but he was indeed contacted.
Well... It's JARRETT Stidham.
He's waiting to see where Briles goes. His exit from Baylor to wait a year wasn't just random.

Aranda & Briles know each other. Aranda's first position job was the linebackers coach for Briles at UofH.
REALISTICALLY, "Farkwad" ...

Of course this is my third post. Until May 26th, I was flinging my green and gold afar. There wasn't a need for me to venture to this forum.

I have zero loyalties to Baylor anymore.

Hence this being my third (now 4th) post, so what about it? Here I am and I have information that I am willing to share.
quote:

The problem with Briles is even if he was clean and it was all Baylors fault nobody will know.

You think Baylor is in a hurry to release any info that would blame them and clear Briles? No way.

To bad Baylor can hide behind being a private school and nobody will know the full story there.

I agree that Baylor is holding on to those reports for dear life. They have yet to give Briles an actual reason why he was fired, hence not wanting to admit incompetence on their part by releasing the report.

Julie Hayes from KWTX (waco news channel) has been digging and finally reported what the other media outlets have failed to do:

Art Briles is an honorable man
Before you look at this post, scoff, roll your eyes, and click out, hear me out.

I know both parties very well and am very close to this situation. Life was shaken May 26th.

I know for a fact that if LSU hires Briles, Stidham is ready to leave MCC Highlander life and hop on a plane to Baton Rouge.

Once more information comes out about the situation, Briles will be cleared and hirable with arguably the best quarterback in the country in his pocket.

He's got at least 10 years left in him. You're also setting yourself up for the long term coach that is his son.

I googled and found the wacko news reporter that had some secret recordings that have swayed me into thinking this was a big Baylor issue and had nothing to do with Briles.
