Compared to the teams in the 90s and 2000, this team has much if not more talent. The problem for the current team, is that so many other teams, especially in the SEC, have caught up to the talent level that LSU has. The great coaches, the stadiums, NIL, Portal, the TV exposure, etc., etc. make it really difficult for any team to win Nattys on a consistent basis.

I saw both play many, many times. To this day, Pete is the greatest COLLEGE basketball player I have ever seen play for the P&G. In spite of not being able to play as a freshman and not having a three point line, he is the most prolific scorer in LSU history. He made the first team All American team all three of his years.
Does LSU require a basketball ticket for a child under two?

Remember this game like it was yesterday....Was sitting in the North end zone with my fraternity. After the game we stormed the field and helped pull down the goal post. Several fraternity brothers were able to walk out the stadium with one of the uprights and carry it back to the fraternity house.

SEC won't let teams play on Sunday with the tournament starting on Tuesday. That's why all SEC games started on Thursday this week.
