re: Anyone ever hunt pass a loutre wma?

Thanks for all the advice on the 13 foot boston whaler, saved me a lot of headaches. I think I will try and bring down a bigger boat.
I am thinking of taking a duck hunting and fishing trip down to Pass a Loutre next week, and camping out for a night or two at one of the tent campgrounds.
I have read reports that say not to do it in an aluminum jon boat. I have a 13 foot boston whaler with 40hp on it. It is about as seaworthy as it gets for that size of a boat, but the older I get, the more I have learned not to venture out on new water without getting advice first.
Can anyone give any advice on if it is doable to get to one of the campgrounds that I could hunt around in this boat? I would be going alone too.
