If you really want the best architect look no further than Chris Braud. He has been continuously in the BR market since the early 80’s. Cheaper options like “landscapers” exist but can’t do his quality of work. He has done multiple jobs for me including new, renovation and even pools. He has done huge jobs like Saban’s old house on highland to smaller homes all around town.

Look him up at Plantech Nursery. You won’t be let down.

Roundtree does a fine job if you want flashy non native plants that you will have to replace each season. That is what you see in the McDonalds drive through. If you are in BR and want a professional design I would seek out Chris Braud at Plantech Nursery. He has been in business in BR for the 40+ years and is well respected in the industry. He has done designs for all the major players in the BR area over the years. They will do design and install or help you do it yourself if that is the route you want to go.
Avoid the Antique Pine Products company and owner Leland Denison. He provides a subpar product and is dishonest. I know two people that had his crew install and finish wood form his mill to a disastrous result. Both had to have the wood either refinished or pulled up and replaced with better quality wood. His business practices are unethical and border on criminal.

I have used Ted Thibodeaux to finish wood floors in the past. He and his crew are slow but the floors look perfect when they are done.
