re: Western Michigan Officially Challenges Ruling

Great news. Someone needs to put a flash light on the Big10 refs tactics. Dirtiest ref crews in country.

Big 10 refs are the dirtiest in the college game. They can't be trusted and need to be banned from big game outside their conference.
Thanks for additional film study on the OL.

You are mixing topics of him contributing money and him being an ambassador.

Peer pressure can have dramatic results some times.......And now that The Film Guy is watching for him, there is going to be no where to hide this season because the film is always rolling.
I watched that. BRUTAL for Ryan Williams Coleman
One last thing, if his dicking off cost us a game, I hope every NFL scout pays attention and it costs him in the draft.
A lot of things are a work in progress but things feel slightly better than last year overall.......As for #1, most people's thoughts on it have been expressed in another thread and its not pretty.
His film breakdown is about the best thing I watch after a game to see what happened. I wish they were longer.

Deboer is always going to be the nice guy "cool' coach, just like Richt was. And he isn't changing. I don't care how much he acts excited, he isn't going to actually follow through with anything meaningful. He wouldn't even tell Russell to stop taking hits. Never hire a west coast guy again after this.

really pop him and it didn't take many of those hits to have him start playing scared.

If he is still employed by Alabama, his job is not over.
"The Film Guy" is going out of his way to rip #1 a new one for terrible effort and soft play. I personally will be glad when he is gone after this year. The NIL can be spent on a player that isn't so soft and tries harder. But the bigger issue is the coaches are allowing this soft-azz effort. Attitudes like that are a cancer.

Saban is well on his way to being a billionaire.

Interest in college football in general is declining.

Didn't something like this happen last year for LSU?
Nah, Deboer is much more like Mark Richt in many many ways.
Debt makes slaves of people. LSU lack of money and desire to win drove them to do anything to be among the SEC elite again. Getting Kiffin is the closest thing to them getting Saban back and they were willing to do it. But all things considered with that entire culture, group, etc, it doesn't surprise me.

quote:But WE are paying him to work for US. Not the college football world agendas. To push BAMA
To be fair, he's working overtime to get this madness that forced him to retire in check.
quote:Think about it. You don't have Saban working for you, the most public well-known figure in the game, and then hide him behind the scenes. If he is an ambassador as Sandkhan said, he would be out front. Look at the LSU and Barns ambassadors. They are public, loud, and proud of their intent to push their school. Thats what I think of when people say they want when it comes to marketing, jersey patches, NIL funds, etc.
How do you know what he does behind the scenes
Got to be a fake account to drag Bama into the shiit talking on here. No Bama fan I know is saying this. East Carolina is no measuring mark.

Do we or do we not have Saban on the Alabama payroll? If we do, someone answer WHAT IS HE DOING? Our admin nor coaches seem to be using him for anything. I heard he was living in Florida. So we used him so little he just left? You got Saban on payroll and don't use him? Has to be the biggest dropping of the ball ever. And this goes back to when he retired from coaching.
