Right now it is projected as the Tax Slayer bowl vs Penn State

re: New OC

I feel he should be. Miles obviously doesn't trust him to call plays so I think they need someone with good experience as a play caller.

New OC

I think that a good option for OC would be Charlie Weis. He was a terrible head coach, but so was Kiffin and look what he has done for Alabama. And if you look at his track record, Notre Dame had one of the best offenses in the country under Weis, he was very good at developing quarterbacks, and as an OC he has experience with winning (New England).

Head coaching decisions aside, we are projected to play Penn State in the Tax Slayer bowl, any thoughts? I feel that we match up well with Penn State as long as our defense can get pressure in Hackenberg's face and do our best to stop Barkley.
I prefer my coach to have consistent winning seasons. like Les
Hugh Freeze has done shite at Ole Miss
Your delusional if you think that you will get any of these coaches, why would they want to come here? They have to go up against Saban if they do.
We will never get Jimbo Fisher, lets be honest. He is in a soft ACC where he can get 10 wins with a sub par team like he has last year. Chip Kelly is not dropping down from the NFL to come to the college level, especially to come to an LSU team that ran out of town its most succesful coach. Now Tom Herman has signed a tenative agreement with South Carolina. So then who are you going to get? Hugh Freeze? no. Scott Frost? boy thats a bad decision.
Sorry posted the wrong one, the second one was what I was looking for.
Why? It worked in the NBA, just look at Derrik Fisher and the Knicks.
Ok we have a young quarterback that needs help developing, a coach that has experience in the SEC in some way shape or form, and someone who is a leader on the field/sideline. With all that being said I think that they should consider Peyton Manning. He is close to retirement, is one of the smartest minds in football, and is just a winner in general. I feel we could do a lot worse.

how is this delusional? I listed a number of reason for why he would leave and then why he would want to come here.
Hear me out on this. Messi has accomplished way less on the international stage than Donovan has, Donovan has accomplished way more in the MLS than Messi has with Barcelona, and Messi has been on the decline since 2012.

Someone no one is talking about

If we can match his salary, and hear me out, Brian Kelly. I would imagine he is tired of having to deal with a strong academic school, the boosters at Notre Dame are very fickle (just ask Charlie Weis), and the fans there always have unrealistic expectations. He would at least consider coming to LSU because it has become an established blue blood in college football, recruiting to LSU is much easier (better program and better weather), and he will make way more at LSU. And with a track record like his, I pray he comes to LSU.

And the guy you are running out of town is 110-33 with 4 BCS appearances.
