re: Texas Bowl Ticket Sales

School used to get 15,000 allotments from the bowls and would have to eat the unsold tickets. The conference negotiated that number down with the new bowl contracts. There will be a solid LSU showing.

news may start leaking tonight
What a fricking moron. This is what he needed to say:

We all met and for a number of reasons decided Miles is the right coach for our football team."

This sends the best message to recruits and doesn't make him or the other idiots involved look like jack-asses.
Ole Miss lives (Wallace, Kelly) or dies (Schaeffer) by transferring QBs

I don't think the SECCG loser can drop further than the Citrus Bowl unless the bowl opts to use its one-win clause. We aren't within one win of Florida unless we get a waiver for the McNeese State game.

I received corroborating information from people that were putting up $$$ for the buyout too I just didn't post it here.

The more information that comes out, the more I believe that Alleva did what he was supposed to do.
I faxed and left a message with Alexander's receptionist. Regardless of what side of the fence you fall on, all of these clowns should be contacted and told how poorly they handled the entire situation. They completely embarrassed LSU and this reeks of politics as usual in Louisiana. See Georgia for how adults release coaches.

I grew up with Booger. He is as good as gold.
Dan Mullen. How bad do you think we would have beaten Mississippi State if we would have switched head coaches this year? To do what he has done at Mississippi State with 6 straight bowl games, a BCS bowl and his record this year with only 7 starters returning is pretty remarkable. Just seems like a good fit to me. He has survived the rigors of the SEC at probably the most disadvantaged schools in the SEC. He also coaches up QBs.
We need to keep it close at the beginning of the game. They were completely gassed at the end of the Ole Miss game, and I think that the back to back overtime games will catch up to them.
There will be a decent contingent of LSU fans in Section L. That's where I would buy tickets if you are getting them on the secondary market. In the past LSU has been in S and S-1 and there was always spill-over into the R and Q.
