provisional accreditation is the only type of accreditation offered for new schools for the first 3-5 years. ARC-PA is the accrediting body that accredits PA programs, you should look that up for more info. Provisional accreditation is a type of full accreditation. PA programs cannot take students until they are accredited. Even if a PA program was to "lose accreditation" while you are enrolled they let the students enrolled finish so they can take the PANCE. They just wouldn't be able to take any new students until all issues have been addressed. So . . .the program is fully accredited and by the time you would graduate the "provisional" period would likely be over.
