re: Divorce Attorney Advice

I appreciate the leads and the good lucks. I hit up a few of attorneys this morning. Just waiting on reply’s. I know this shite ain’t easy. Hardest thing I’ve ever had to do is look my two kids in the eyes knowing what is coming for them because of someone else’s selfish decisions. I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. But I know I have to keep my chin up and stay strong for them to see. We will get past it one day and hopefully be better off.

Can’t do this. I made her promise me she wouldn’t embarrass me with papers at my job. I can’t turn around and do the same.

One problem is there are a lot of assets. We each have a job and own businesses on the side.

Not necessarily hung up on Baton Rouge. That’s just the closest city to me. I’m not opposed to other options. Just have no idea where to start.

Definitely not in my right mind. I have lost 50 pounds in 6 months. I could have lost a few but I didn’t have 50 to lose. I have been trying to do everything for my kids. I have always been very involved with every aspect of their lives. The thought of only having that half of the time kills me and it’s what drives me to keep fighting for this.

All of that being said, who are some good attorneys around Baton Rouge?

According to her things have been not good for about a year. Honestly I didn’t see it. We separated for a couple months. She came back home. Then I found out about the affair. I even tried to work through it. Now everything is my fault according to her and she says she is done.

Divorce Attorney Advice

I know I don’t post much but I’m here for advice. After 20 years I never thought I’d be asking this question. About to go through a divorce that I do not want. I’ve tried everything to avoid it but it’s coming. I’ve never had to deal with any of this before and I’m totally lost. I am trying not to get messy and want it to go as smooth as possible. My question is does it go better with both parties using the same lawyer or should I get my own? I pretty much k ow that answer but just looking for suggestions. Also, any recommendations on a good one in the Baton Rouge area. Have two young kids involved but we have agreed on a custody schedule.

I planted them with this in mind. They are about 60’ on either side of the driveway (which is crushed concrete/gravel). I have 6 down each side and the driveway is over 700’ long. I didn’t want them to crowd each other.

I am about 30 mins north of Baton Rouge. I hope to live long enough to see them decent size but I know I will never see them when they are at their best.

I have started putting the 13-13-13 to them but I didn’t know about the iron.

Live Oak Question

Posted by Beaued up on 7/2/24 at 1:40 pm
I planted 12 live oaks down my driveway in the fall of 2020. They are all growing well and are 3 to 3-1/2” in diameter at the trunk. My question is should I have them pruned by somebody that knows what they are doing to help shape them and for a healthier overall tree or just leave them alone and let nature do its thing? When I bought them they were in 30 gallon buckets and about 1-1/2” in diameter.

This makes a lot of sense. Thank you.

Sorry I should have been more specific. I have tried to get on plane without blowout with the trim tabs and motor trim in all different positions trying to find a sweet spot.

Key West BR230 Prop

Posted by Beaued up on 6/30/24 at 10:49 am
I am running the above hull with a t-top, a Suzuki DF300 and a 3 blade 16 inch prop with a 20 pitch. WOT is 6000 RPM. Top speed is 54. Cruising is around 4000RPM at about 35mph. Boat gets up pretty good but the prop blows out every time even trimmed all the way down and trim tabs down. My question is what are y’all running prop wise on something similar? I am planning on going to Bo’s Prop Shop on the Amite in the next couple weeks to run a few different ones but just wanted to see what others are doing.

Rheem comes with 10 year parts. 1 year labor warranty. I can install a 5 ton for 14k in the Baton Rouge and surrounding areas.
I would have to agree with the mini split. Most models are heat pumps so you would have heat also. I have put in several of the ones off the internet. Have had really good luck with pioneer brand. Only problem I have found is getting parts for them compared to buying one local. I stopped installing ones off the internet for customers around Covid because of lead time on parts. This may be better now. Can’t go wrong with a Mitsubishi but they are a little more expensive.

One option we have done for a customer on a portable unit is to cut a 4” hole in the wall and put a dryer vent cover on it. Makes for a clean, ordinary look on the side of your house and the hose just hooks up like your dryer would when in use.

Stud Dog - Black Lab

Posted by Beaued up on 5/11/24 at 9:37 am
I have a 5 year old black lab I would like to get a puppy off of. He is a strong duck dog and also blood trailing dog. He is block headed and about 105 lbs. Very good and gentile with kids. Hard working when it’s time to hunt. No stud fee but would like pick of the litter. I don’t know how to post pics. Text me at 225-937-4829 if interested. I can send pics/videos that way.
Both of mine are plugged into GFCI receptacles. I would check to see if that is tripped first. Mine have done it several times with power outages.
Both of mine have been labs. Neither one would bark on a dead deer but bark almost every breath on one that was alive. The one that I have now I think would fight to the death. Both were very easy to train. I would work with him 15 mins twice a day starting around 3-4 months old. They took to it pretty quick. Also like many have said put them on every track you can. Even if it’s 25 yards in the bushes.

One thing that I learned very early on is when you do start tracking for people, make sure YOU are the only one packing a gun. People get excited. That’s the reason we hunt. No deer is worth getting your dog accidentally shot. Nobody ever plans on it happening, but in the heat of the moment it can. My first dog almost did early in my tracking career. From that day forward I am packing the gun. I have no problem giving it to you to shoot once I catch my dog but until then it’s mine. Every once in a while you are going to run across somebody who will buck you on this. They don’t want anybody else shooting “their” deer. Usually once you explain why and let them know that how it’s going to be or you are leaving they come around.

Also, the garmin collar really is a game changer. I started with a bell on the collar. Moved up to one of garmins first models that strapped around the middle of the dog and sat between his shoulder blades. The alpha is so far ahead of that it isn’t comparable. I have always had big labs. (100lbs +) A leash is out of the question when either one gets on a trail. Once you get into it you will love it. I would rather go on a track than shoot one now. Especially to find one for a kid. They get so excited.
I have a four year old little boy that loves to go on our party barge. He usually doesn't have a problem wearing his "float coat" but I know it gets hot later in the summer. I have been looking for him an auto inflate type but it is hard to find one coast gaurd approved in his size. They have some that are approved by other agencies. What are yalls thoughts?

Where in south Louisiana can I get bees and supplies? I would like to get into it but have no idea where to start.
