If the cooler smells like Redfish Residue and Keystone Light, then it sure will....Gotta be super clean/bleached/dried.

Also, using the oven food bags that were mentioned would help with heat retention as well as keeping away any off odors.

Yes franchising was a major factor in the start of the death spiral of what used to be a fantastic brand.

It pains me when a taste of success in the food biz causes over reaching money grabbing.

This inevitably leads to major cost cutting and foregoing the quality of service and ingredients which made you popular in the first place.
Went through this, similar age with a family member.

The biggest key to recovery is to go slowly...takes 12 weeks before any type of major physical work is allowed.

This is critical. The nurses and Dr. could not stress enough that the number one reason people ended up back in the hospital after bypass surgery was the patient trying to push themselves too hard before they were cleared to do so.

Logistical support of family / friends the first several weeks is super important. Not something you want to go through alone.
An older guy that was a handyman/grounds keeper I worked with was fully illiterate.

He had his own ways to get along in the world, and had no interest in learning how to read/write. The work office actually paid his bills and handled mail for him.

A simple, hard working man who I guess juts didn't see the point at his stage in life to do things any differently.

food rules consider 4 hours or less ideal, 6+ is pushing it, but should be OK. A thick bottom cast iron full of jam will probably keep warm all by its lonesome that long, but the product at the bottom of the pot may lose some integrity.

As mentioned, bagged up in a quality Yeti style chest will also do the trick.

I can tell you absolutely for certain ALL DeAngelos locations are permanently closed and will not be re-opening or re-locating regardless of any rumors or signs on doors to the contrary. It was a possibility at one time a location on Siegen would open, but that will no longer be happening. Louis lost his interest in his restaurants long ago, and the years of neglect took its toll.

Nandos Restaurant was also co-owned by Louis and once relocated, but is also permanently closed. Louis also owned a corporate foodservice management company and Tapas Restaurant downtown, but they are also closed. The entrepreneurial office sharing space Louis opened with some partners is also permanently closed.

If you want to have basically the same food as the old style DeAngelos, Louis' cousin runs Bistro Italia on Coursey. He worked and trained at DeAngolos for years, so the food and menu should be very similar.

SHORT ANSWER: YES

If you are a legitimate business you will need a Federal EIN, State Tax ID, and a Business License from your local municipality.

My brother and I equally own a business set up as a LLC. We are partners and thus legally must share all expenses and profits 50/50. It does not matter who does the actual work, it all goes into the same pot.

If you personally spend money on lawn equipment out of pocket that was not reimbursed by the company, you can claim that expense to offset taxes.

The LLC profits/losses are passed on to each partner in the company, and the individual owners are responsible for paying the income tax.

See your Secretary of State office for guidance on how to set up the LLC.
