Your math makes no sense...if the breaks where four months, would her annual salary be higher?? The breaks are irrelevant, she still gets paid the same.
I am in Madison place off of 929. Seems to have dropped around 1.5 inches or so since 4PM this afternoon.
re: Suggestions for a new home theater receiver and speakers

Just purchased one of these.
LINK
I had never heard of them before, but the Magnolia room at best buy had one set up. Main thing that sold me is it had audio pre outputs to hook up a second receiver as well as two zones. This allows me to watch TV inside as well as listen to music outside. The audio pre outputs allows me to connect this receiver to a second receiver which acts as an amplifier to feed just the outside speakers. Don't know how much you are looking to expand the system, but this receiver has everything you need and more.

Don't know how accurate the statement is about not plugging directly into the receiver. I have my Firestick plugged directly into the receiver and it works just fine. Everything (cable box, appleTV, Firestick, whatever else) plugs into the receiver and feed the TV with an HDMI cable.
I appreciate your honesty, but not here for respect just looking for help and tips.

Yes. Very aware. That's where I got all of the info. I didn't have luck with the rice poping following those directions. After that, I got other tips and tried that way as well.

Sounds good. I was using Zatarain's parboiled.

Scared to say it, but yes. What rice would you recommend?
OK. Will give that a try. I can post a pic of it, if anyone can explain how. I have tried doing it both ways, boiling the liquid out and then covering and covering once it gets to a boil. I have heard suggestions of doing it both ways. Still no luck
Need help with Jambalaya
Posted by Kazhopa on 6/27/16 at 2:27 pm
Cooked a jambalaya this weekend and unable to get the rice to "pop". Once all meat and veggies were browned I added the liquid (2:1). That came to a hard boil and added the rice. Continued to boil until the liquid was 95% absorbed. Covered it and turned to low for 25 min. Any suggestions on what I need to do to get the rice to pop? The rice wasn't hard, it just didn't pop open.
