I can tell you right now that Kale was very disappointed that he wouldn't be pitching for the Tigers. Circumstances forced his hand. Unfortunately Texas A&M doesn't offer out-of-staters anywhere near what they do kids from Texas. For Kale to pass on Mississippi State's offer would have been preposterous. He's a great kid, happy for him. They've gotta get him to Starkville first, though. We'll see what the MLB thinks soon. The USA POY is also in his future.
