re: just passed a leaf drafting about 2 feet behind a tractor trailer going to work

Way back in high school, I drafted my Mustang behind a moving van on I-10, between Mobile and Pensacola. It was a very low trailer, I actually had it in neutral and gently braked to keep from bumping into it, at 80mph.
what this has to do with a leaf, nothing

As a little kid, I would hear my mother comment about men in their Sears sucker suit....
Have you heard of "Here come the mummies"?

It all depends on your noise tolerance. HONDA 2000's run quiet but cost around a grand. You can get higher wattage ones at HF, but can be louder.
I have a cheapo from Aldi, 2000 watt. But it runs things I want to run, but not all at once. The key to generator life is the gas. Buy ethanol free gas and run it once in a while, like every month or 2 for 20 mins with a fan or something. Also keep the oil level up, they have low oil level shut-off switches.
There's you tube videos showing all sorts of setups, research.

That's ok, I just got dragged to your screen name area. Highly overrated. Looks just like National forest land back here in Bama.
As for Dega, been there, done that, next.

She looks like an elf. A pointy faced elf.
