Posted by fanofthegame on 11/3/18 at 11:42 am
Anyone know of a local sports bar or restaurant to watch the game tonight in west DFW area?
The closer to Texas Motor Speedway the better...

LSU recruited him, but maybe the staff bought into some of the work ethic/character negativity of the envious and misinformed.
The reality is, there was a large risk of him not qualifying and that risk was what he made it. Saban rolled the dice and won, the exact payoff remains a mystery...
Equally as real is the fact that those that are posting about his work ethic and criminality have very likely never been in the same room with the kid.
And yes Rickety, late indeed...

Glad Eddie made it, wish he had signed with LSU.
Same old song and dance, local envious HS rivals trashing somebody because they had no answer for him on the field.
Beer and Anonymity with a shot of Envy FTW :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

out of state but still may not qualify
He may not have dreadlocks either :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
I think he is headed to Alabama or Ole Miss, with Alabama in the lead prior to today, but who knows?
He will be a crappy no good player as soon as he commits to one of those teams anyway, so what does it really matter?

Where's he from originally, why's he at Hargrave, and is he interested in LSU?
As True Grit said, he attended Dutchtown, which has not exactly been a showcase for WR types in the past...
I am not his spokesman, just a local poster. He basically decided to get religion when it comes to work ethic, it impressed me, figured it would be of interest to local people.

I still don't get WTF he's trying to accomplish with it though. At least if his name was attached, he could use the excuse of "trying to get a scholarship to a good college" to justify his fondness of his own athletic accolades.
I was so blown away by his work ethic, I made the video for him. It was posted as a motivational video on the SPARQ training site. I just figured I would post a link here. Michael Jordan was cut from his 10th grade basketball team, not that this is a comparison, but as Bear Bryant once told a reporter "If the boy can do it, it ain't braggin"...

LOL, I thought it was pretty humble, especially the part where his name is not mentioned :-)

Why won't he give his name?
He is a really quiet kid. I think we wanted to finish the season at Hargrave before getting involved in recruiting, he is not even 18 yet, kinda young.

if its legit, someone should get Les on it
Yup, it's legit. I think it is too far along for LSU to be interested in him, but I think he will go somewhere and be a difference maker.

Unknown Receiver
This guy currently runs a 4.32 40 at 6'2" 210, and has a 36" vertical, 4.01 shuttle, 43' powerball, for a SPARQ rating of 146.01, highest in the country I think.
Wonder whose tree he will be under this Christmas?
