Nothing wrong with Ole Miss stadium. Don't expand for the sake of expanding. We built a upper deck that is perhaps filled once in five years.
Just go ahead and make your reservations to the Gator Bowl.
I will say we have been a thorn in their flesh the last few years. Hope it continues.

His buyout was $11 million. Tech may have to mortgage the campus.

I'm sure they will low ball the next person. They are losing money hand over foot.
This game should be a home/home series. That would help the pigs.

Watched a replay of Arizona's game last week. That quarterback threw for 299 yards. They did not have much of a rushing game.
According to the Hawaii newspaper - it was the first sell out crowd for their stadium a crowd of 9,346.

This is the way the SEC has always been. It's a long SEC tradition that some schools simply play other schools infrequently.

I'll say! Mississippi State NEVER played Georgia Tech the entire time they were in the SEC. Like from 1933 to 1965.
Not Once in football.
I will say that it looks like Ole Miss will be 6-0 before going into the meat of the schedule.
Texas has no lower level tickets for visiting fans. Plus the student section is behind the visitor's sideline.. That will change when they enter the SEC
All I know is that I went to the FSU- NC State game last year and the announced crowd was just over 50,000. There was only about 35,000 inside the stadium.

But the season had already run off the tracks
I like going to Knoxville since we do not play up there much. But their stadium has some of the smallest seats I've ever seen. You can even still see where the old numbers were located and then they made the seats smaller.

But not as cramp as War Memorial stadium in Little Rock. You knees are in the back of the people in front of you. But you at least have some space to sit your arse.

I can't think of one single instance of any team being kicked out of any conference. Maybe I am wrong.

I know this is Division 3 but in 2019 the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference voted out St Thomas for beating teams by large amounts. A conference game where the score was 98-0 was the last straw for the conference. Has a student population that is double everyone in conference.
The ACC is hoping for the SEC to give up the dates in Atlanta. If we leave they will never get the dates back.
Of all the posts that I have read in the last month. The OP is by far the worst. Glad the alcohol finally kicked in and he is passed-out. Darn, these LSU fans are melting for some reason.

This should be the only logo Alabama ever uses. It’s perfection.

I, as a State fan, actually like that logo. That's the logo I remember from Alabama.
I know I'm older than most but Doug Barfield, that was at Auburn, had two of the best running backs in the nation in 1979. Cribbs and Brooks. And had a line backer that was All-American in Freddy Smith. And some others I cannot remember.
yet was third in conference
Ferris has been winning with ease during the playoff but their conference, Great Lake, is weak compared to Gulf South. It should be a good game.

Some of our best games were played at Barnhill Arena which sat 9,000 fans. No one wanted to play us there. It was as loud as anything I've heard in there. Great memories.

Barnhill was one of the loudest places I have ever been in. it was small but the feeling you got was that the fans were so close to the court.

Hell they already have an upper deck on top of an upper deck. If I had tickets in the 600 sections. I'd just stay home. But do like the downtown area. Very nice.
--And why they don't get out of Jacksonville is beyond me.
I went to Birmingham to see a minor league game this year. The minor league team is under the White Soxs team. I saw two people with White Soxs gear on. And about a thousand that had Braves gear on. And they were not playing a Braves owned team. And to add- that ball Field in downtown Bham was excellent.

I watched them play UAB in the new stadium.
UAB was doing fine until Liberty's QB started running the ball. UAB had to rush an extra man and then Liberty started passing the ball to open players.
UAB went back to just rushing four and the QB started his fancy footwork again.
Their QB is a very good player. Can scramble all over the field. How La-Monroe beat them I will never know.

Someone really, really, really has Kentucky Football on his mind. And that someone is PlateJohnson. Well - it is Plate - so let me rephrase that. Somebody has a picture of Kentucky Football that he's staring at quite a bit, when he's not gazing at that piece of rock candy he always carries around. 'Cause it's for lookin' ... not for eatin'.

I'm going to the game with some of my UAB friends. All they really want to do is get away from their wives for a weekend. Was told to come with them and we would have a good time. Even the UAB fans are expecting to be back at the bars before halftime. When Georgia gets up by 21 they said it would be time to leave. And that could be first quarter.
UAB needs their QB for conference play. If he is getting killed, look for Clark to pull him.
I'm staying away from this game. Even though I think USCjr will win. But the experts have E Carolina with a 63% chance to win. Something don't sound right.

Here is an interesting item.
the total hit the over in S Carolina's last six away games. and ECU has hit the over in 11 of last 16 games. Total was 55 early but think it has dropped.

I think I would take the over.

Sorry had to take the grandson to practice. I'm in the Holiday Inn express. So we are in walking distance to DT. Or at least that's what my friend said. I'm bringing a sleeping bag. Doing a floor sleep.
I am planning to go to the UAB game this weekend with a few friends and was wondering if the bars in DT Athens open up early on game day. We will be pulling in about 9am and need to know if we need to pick-up some beer or if some bars open early this Saturday? Think we are just going to find a bar and the walk over to the stadium closer to game time. Thanks in advance.
I'm sure UAB is watering at the mouth for that SEC check. With that check the coach's salary is paid.

Didn't USCjr cancel on them last year for bowl game?
