re: Official fishing shirts at church scoring thread

I play this game with the family when I’m going to a potentially trashy wedding. We do an over/under on the people wearing jeans. I’ve found that the number has a direct correlation to the distance from a large city.

I think I caught something in the comments. The groom paying for alcohol is a Lafayette thing?

You know zero about football. He’s won everywhere he’s been. He won at ND even without being able to get most athletes into the school. Great hire.

That’s like complaining about potentially winning the lottery because you’d have to pay taxes. Good lord this board is insane

I find this topic on the OT shocking every time it comes up. I know no one that carries a knife every day. I’ll carry one at the deer camp for a weekend, but I can’t see bringing one to the office daily or to a kids ball game. When would you ever use it?

Main street media
Not quite sure that this is the term you were looking for.
Enemy of the people = the MSM = ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, CNN and their local affiliates.
That would be mainstream media. Sweet Jesus.

Not like he just went around the block to his dealer. He took your car to...... dude he probably fricked in your car.
Was his name Dirty Mike?
He made several more stops. Another at Armstrong park. Either fricking or dealing. Either is not ideal

Had this happen at a Marriott in NOLA last year. They couldn't FIND my car. I eventually located it on a surface lot a block from the hotel. Unlocked. Amazingly nothing was stolen. The valet had quit in the middle of his shift the night I checked in. They couldn't find him or get a number to try and locate my keys. Marriott wouldn't do shite since the valet service was a contractor. I had to get a buddy to drive me the extra key fob from BR to the CBD. The valet company eventually paid for a new key fob from the manufacturer.
That sucks. The valet here was also contracted out. They were about to tow my car to the dealership and have another key made when they finally tracked them down. The problem is my house key was also on the ring and they could easily hit home on my GPS to see my home address.

As an aside, I never valet my car. I've heard too many stories.
I don’t ever valet either. It happened to be raining when I showed up. That’s the only reason. Never again

I agree. That was my thought too. The only valid argument I’ve heard is that a crime might have been committed in it. Such a long shot, that it’s not worth it.

Ever wonder if valets take your car joy riding? They do

I stayed in New Orleans at a decent hotel Monday and Tuesday. When I went to check out, the valet couldn’t find my keys. I checked the app that came with my car to find it’s location and it was in the correct garage. But, when I clicked on “trip history”, I saw that it was taken out between 4:30 AM and 7 AM to City Park and Armstrong Park, making 5 stops. I obviously lost my sh*t. Long story short, they had to wake up the valet employee and drive to his house to retrieve my keys. Took about three hours total. No damage to my car and they comped my stay. An “investigation” is still going on and they are emailing me updates. What does the OT think I should do, if anything?

Vaccinated people are catching and spreading the infection to other vaccinated individuals. So we have a vaccine that does not prevent one from becoming infected and spreading it.
It’s like wearing your seatbelt. Could you still die in a car wreck? Sure, but your chances are 95 percent better. Look at the data of who is in ICU and who isn’t. The data tells the story. The vaccine works.
50 percent of the country also fought seatbelts. Same argument - personal freedoms, first step towards socialism, bla bla bla.

Riiight. Educated people have taken high level science courses and have gotten the vaccine. The uneducated are somehow linking a world wide pandemic to US politics.

I’m saying he has qualifications beyond his skin color. Did white candidates have a shot at that job? No. But, he’s also not just some guy with no qualifications.
