Just for an example, adding say Lewis, Key, and Jefferson would put LSU at 290.41 which would be good enough for 2nd on 24/7. But then again, that assumes no one adds any above LSU or near LSU like Texas for example...obviously not likely.

The guy BasilBogomil is obviously a buffoon! Keehn averages 45 yards per punt and is 2nd team All-SEC with obviously 14 punters in the league. The guy really needs to switch over to analysis of curling. Obviously, football is way about his intelligence grade. I feel sorry for him for what he just posted...pretty incoherent really.

As usual, you didn't let the facts burden your post. Sorry that you failed mathematics and now look stupid trying to state a point. Hate to throw facts at you.
2013 average 43 yards 2014 average 45 yards
2013 16 punts out of 55 > 40 yards
2014 52 punts out of 71 > 40 yards
But hey, thanks for the trip down your biased memory lane and bring up a SUPPOSED one bad kick for the entire season. :bird:

He had very few shanks in 2014. Once again, this is the classic revisit of the Brandon LaFell myth. BL had that hideous year at LSU where he played more like a CB than a WRer...knocking every pass down that came to him. But the next year, BL was a very reliable WRer with very few drops. But yet, he got stained his LSU career by one year. That is what is happening with Keehn. He improved dramatically....fine average, few returns, few miss-kicks, 2nd team All-SEC and people only remember 2013.

I would be shocked if Lewis doesn't sign with LSU.

I have no idea who Brodyman is. Not a stalker is he? For the record, I would rank you far, far above Taylor Hamm! My understanding of his process is that if a prospect enters the state of Texas anywhere, he predicts them for A&M. :rotflmao:

Maybe I heard the wrong interviews with him but seriously, he talked completely about Pruitt. The coaches are LSU were not the only thing he mentioned when talking about the Tigers. To me that is a huge hint. Kyle Phillips...another good example. All the guy ever talked about with LSU was Haley/Chavis. How did that turn out for LSU.

"one of the most obvious alter trolls I've ever seen"
"troll is internet slang and is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people"
Sooooo, disagreeing with someone is beyond my right and if YOU get upset, that is my fault? :rotflmao:

I think you may take this staff and their abilities for granted
Don't get me wrong. A staff can screw up a sure thing but I will take a wild guess and say recruiters that bad have long been weeded out of the recruiting process. BTW, one thing looking horrible for S Carolina and A Key if you didn't see it. He gave an interview on Fox Sports and when asked about SCarolina coaches, he said he liked the coaches recruiting him. When asked "How about Steve Spurrier?" He said, "I really don't know Spurrier very well." Uh oh! Not a good sign.

You probably won't agree with this, but one reason I though D Jackson was going to commit to LSU is every time he mentioned Georgia, it was ONLY about Pruitt. Sure, that is important but what I said at the time is that when a guy is trying to decide between programs and the only thing holding him to one program is one guy, that is not a good sign.

The layups are the ones once again that were never really in much doubt. Every big time program has a bunch of commits that anybody who follows recruiting knew from day 1 of their recruitment where they were going. Whether you want to mathematically define them as 40 out of 40 crystal balls on 24/7 that ended up correct and were right 1 year in advance of NSD....that is one example.

No negative insinuation was meant by that. OK, it is a FACT. My ? remains. Why would Hill not flip to LSU if he really wants to come to LSU? That sir is a very valid ?

Texas did the same thing with Hill and it's become the norm.
Ok, let's assume that is exactly what happened. Do you think that LSU still has a chance with him. He didn't sign with Texas and can't for 5 more days. I mean IF LSU was really right up there, what will keep Hill from flipping at the last minute?
To be fair on the "hit 15 and miss on 1", it isn't like most of the 15 are betting on 1 number on a routlette wheel...in other words, there are many LSU signees that were LSU from day 1. Just like for all other teams who have locks on certain players. So yeah, predictors like basketball players are judged on the "tough shots", not the layups.

If it wasn't Deas, it should have been. A HUGE guy who looked like he had a big time mean streak to boot. And his academics never came in.
re: Charlot vs Dillon
Posted by EyeoftheTiger 2015 on 1/30/15 at 5:54 pm to CBAllbritton
I haven't watched them a lot but saw them in the all star game.
Charlot looked fantastic on punt returns (1 TD and tripped over the artificial turf or would have had a 2nd). To be fair, those guys aren't exactly special teams demons trying to tackle him. I didn't notice him as a position player.
Dillon I believe had a couple of catches...looked very smoothe...fast...good hands, etc. I can see why he got a tad upset at LSU when they wanted him for defense initially. He has an offensive player's skillset IMO. To be fair to LSU, maybe he is a hell of a DB also.
Bottom line: my gut instinct is you would love to have Charlot as a PR and Dillon might be the better WRer. I would take both obviously. But I had a choice of Charlot, Dillon, or Brandon Martin ONLY, I would take Brandon Martin (assuming eligible). That guy's upside is off the charts.

Yeah, I criticize the recruiting services for several reasons but there is an obvious #1 that you just touched on. Why in the hell is a punter or PK not rated 5* in ANY years? There are certain guys...Brad Wing being one...that clearly was a 5* prospect. And I promise you, even if had been a US HS senior, he would have been rated no higher than 3*.

Like I said, no one on the planet earth saw the G Willis thing coming. Not your fault he simply had no integrity and we saw this get confirmed on the FL squad didn't we? But the Hill prediction was out there for example...way, way out there. Unless you know something about a guy from Texas that no one remotely hinted at, somebody gave you bad intel. I mean, it was pretty obvious I think that LSU wasn't #1...LSU wasn't #2. I don't know if they were even #3 to be honest.
