re: LSU vs. Troy Predictions

Heart: No way LSU scores more than 30. Maybe even 24. Koening is a defensive genius. Troy offense has been stagnet all year but 90% of last years scoring is still out there. Brown is a offensive genius. We've put up numbers but not the points. Crowd turns early. Troy 28-LSU 17
Brain: LSU is focused on this week not next. Wears down Troy on both sides of the ball. Pulls away in second half.
LSU 35-Troy 13
What might happen: Troy 31-LSU 3. We start taking a knee in the third; or LSU 65-Troy 0.

Yes, we beat Miss. St in Starkville. We beat Oklahoma State and #12 Mizzou at home. The first loss to LSU was a heartbreaker and the second one is still in your record books although hardly any LSU fans were actually there to witness the comeback. FYI-HC Neal Brown was OC back then.
We've played some tight games on the road...scored 48 on Tennessee four years ago and still lost. Lost to Georgia once by 10 after giving them the ball twice inside our own 10yd. Basically we have zero margin for error.
Our offense has been surprisingly flat, but our defense has held up pretty well. We never turn down a challenge which is why we love our little school. Heck our entire Athletic Department budget is only $25m. Tnats less than the LSU football budget.
