I went to Zachary for most of High School. Team underachieved a lot before he got there. Scott really has carried that team and brought it to where they've went. And I was at the game when he played Brandon Harris, it was one hell of a game.

Honestly, can't remember a true freshman who was as impactful since B. McFarland.

I think HoneyBadger would disagree, he made plenty of plays his freshman year wearing 14.
I think the main point some people are missing is that LSU is not just a team, Les Miles is not just a coach. Together they are all a family, and Les Miles is like their father figure. Guaranteed there is prolly a few players on the team who either don't or have never had father figures, and look up to Coach Miles as not only a family oriented individual, but that he looks at the team as his "children" and not just some player he gave a scholarship to like some other coaches.
You do realize that players in college that have kids take this into a big consideration, seeing as playing college ball doesn't get them paid compared to leaving early to provide for their family/children (many of which LSU players have left due to)
