Boiled Blue Crab

Posted by BJac14 on 6/2/15 at 11:09 am
Coming to town this weekend for a few days. Been a long time since I have lived there, but I am on a mission. I am craving some good boiled blue crab. I am looking for a place i can eat some good crab and drink some ice cold beer. Suggestions much appreciated.

LSU High School Camp

Posted by BJac14 on 5/28/15 at 10:01 am
Bringing my son over from Houston next weekend for the first session High School camp. He is beyond excited to say the least. I know it will be tremendous experience for him and hope he learns a good deal from the coaching staff. Any insight from experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
My son (8th grader) did two here in Texas last summer. It was a good experience but we will not be doing another one until his Jr/Sr year. Too much these days combine scores are used to evaluate players. Even though measureables are good to gauge, it isn't the most important. Rivals also has regional combines and my son is doing one middle of March in Austin. They have more events (6) that they test in so going to give it a try. Your son will love the experience and I wish him luck! Don't get caught up too much on his overall score this young. We are really concentrating now on position specific camps where he can really learn the position he plays. In the end, what matters the most is how he performs on the field.
My son (8th grade) did 2 of them last year in here in Texas. It is a good experience 1 time, but after that, I would concentrate more on camps. Then later on (Jr/Sr Year) maybe try one again. Rivals also has regional combines. NIKE cut back this year on the number of SPARQ combines, so expect them to have over 1500 kids (unless they limit the numbers). Try going to Rivals Camp Series and see if there is one in your region. Good Luck!
