Just went back and watched the Russell Shepard film. Please tell me why this kid never got a chance at QB for LSU? Not only could he run but look at those darts he was throwing down the field!!

Just watched Harold's highlight film again. I'm a little worried about this guy. Doesn't seem real physical to me. He broke a few arm tackles here and there but any real contact he was down immediately. Doesn't look to be real physical in my opinion. Add this to the fact that he was continuously run down from behind by high school kids makes him suspect to me. IMO
Now, that is his junior year highlights. Haven't seen anything recent. Hope those are better and hope I'm wrong about him.

Everyone assumes that Canado and O don't get along, and that may be true...but, to make a long story short...I was in the truck with a coaching friend of mine and he got a call from an LSU assistant coach basicly saying that Aranda and Canada are always butting heads at practice. Early in spring Aranda was trying to slow things down to teach all the new defensive guys at practice and Aranda kept motioning and changing sets giving Aranda fits. Canada wants to be fast paced and score quick while Aranda wants the offense to slow down and use clock to help the defense.

If true i side with Aranda on this one. I'll lose Canada to keep Aranda. IMO :geauxtigers:

He is pretty smooth and is a powerful runner. He has really taken his game even further this year. Looks much improved from last year even. By the way, I'm really not his dad, just figured that would be the first comment made on this board! Lol

Trent Winbush

He is the 2nd leading rusher in the state, and Rayne played a 9 game schedule this year. I know UL is looking at him hard but hasn't gotten an offer from any big named schools. Seems like a pretty legit player who has been shredding defenses in 4A. Anyone have any knowledge on why he hasn't gotten more offers?
