It’s probably fair to say that playing for a NC is a secondary goal for Coach Calipari….and I’m ok with that.
Primary goal is recruiting and developing the best guards in the country to get them highly drafted by the NBA. If the NC gets in the way and we flush it….fine. If not….he’ll do the same again the following year.
We use leftover dollars on bigs. First money goes to guards. Just how it is. We will always be incredibly exciting to watch and will always have trouble with big uglies who bully us in the lane.

Well…Black Bears likely have a better W/L record than the confederacy….so there’s that.
Interestingly Black Bears and the confederate army have the same number of SECCG appearances as the University that can’t decide which they want as their mascot.

Running Cal out of Lexington is tracking right along with the likes of hiring Chad Morris….UK class currently ranked 6th…in the SEC.
