bullshite eh?
Off the top of my head
Matt Gilks
George Boyd
James Morrison
Phil Bardsley
Russel Martin
Liam Bridcutt
Jordan Rhodes
Jamie Mackie
All English, all Scottish internationals.
Tom Cairney, Chris Martin and Peter Pawlett (a Hull lad) have all had call ups recently too, who are all also English.
There are more in the pile too who I can't think of outright. Not sure there's any Irish in there though, not that I know of.
bullshite indeed.
Uneducated cretins.

For point 2, the welsh and Scottish national teams are filled with English players who qualify for wales/Scotland through some stupid rule where they have a welsh/Scottish grandparent.
The Scotland squad particularly is very heavy with englishmen, the welsh have a bit more pride in themselves, even if there's one or two English players in the mix.

The band wagoners who were part of attendances of 23500 in the bottom division? Which was the bottom divisions record attendance until it was broken by Portsmouth just recently.
Do try harder.

All the premier league home kits
I know I'll be called biased for saying this, but the Hull City kit is a real beauty. The colours really make it stand out against the usual common blues, reds and whites the majority of clubs wear.

Try these games with them, these are what we used to play as kids. Perfect for when you've too few numbers for a proper game (4 a side is a bare minimum I reckon)
LINK
We used to play slightly different where we'd mark out a half way line, and whenever a player, or team, took possession of the ball they'd have to move it back to the halfway line before they were able to score. Made it more of a challenge.
LINK
Only difference to that we played was any shot that missed and actually went out meant the offender went in goal.
Amazingly fun and suprisingly good competition. Don't know if you play these sort of mini games over there. We still play headers and volleys now! Best game ever.

Hole City, how very original. Did your mummy help you think of that?
Thanks. Not a bad run of your own.
Enjoy your two wembley trips?
Ah, you didn't quite make it did you. Oh well, at least you got to go in 2013....
And get hammered by Wigan

RDW - I think you have a point. Football culture is similar in almost all countries world wide. Everyone puts their own slant on it, which is a good thing - wouldn't it be boring if we all sung and did the same things - but from what I gather (and I hold my hand up I hardly watch any American sport so I could be completely wrong here) American style sport support is the kind of thing that football culture turns it's nose up at. Stuff like cheerleaders, goal music, face paint, foam hands and such. There are one or two clubs in England who use these methods (namely Crystal palace) and they get ridiculed for it.
I read a bit from an English journo during the World Cup who said (trying to quote from memory) "and along comes team usa in it's usual pompous bombastic fashion, strutting about with a giant eagle on it's chest". When we over here saw that "I believe we will win" it was pretty much what we all thought, it was a head in hands moment thinking "what the feck are these lot doing" not knowing whether to laugh or cry.
I think he's right that you need to be more English but less English, as ridiculous as that sounds. You need to have your own style of support, it's no good just copying us, but it should be less foam hands, face paint, army recruitment style chants, because in doing those things you'll never really fit in.
Not sure that makes a great deal of sense. Don't really know how to explain it.

As I mentioned in another thread, Dyke is a plank. Not fit to run a piss up in a brewery.
Notice how he says the only two signings not to come from overseas so far are the transfers of Luke Shaw and Adam Lallana.
I'm not sure if he realises the premier league has 20 teams in it or not, but he seems oblivious to anyone who's not a top 6 regular.
I love the way he's always bemoaning the premier league, as if he's not the one who was pretty much responsible for it's inception.
He's a twat.

There are two different sports known as simply 'football' around the world, and ones an imposter.
Or do you also call the imposter American football?
If so, I wasn't aware of that fact. Though I suspect it's not the case.

There is no derision for Gaelic football or Aussie Rules because they don't try to steal the title of just 'football'.
They respect their elders, like we're all taught as sprogs.
Them folk at Oxford were all anti football anyway. Egg chasers and canoers the lot of them.

McCormack the only one of note, the rest are crap. All that proves is that TWS have for a long time been a one trick pony with a team of individuals.
And now you're replacing your solitary good player with a load of Johnny foreigners that your non league failure of a manager has no say about... Good luck with that!

We currently have 23 seniors/first teamers on the books and looking to add 3 more to that. None of those are dross either, the worst of them is a top championship quality player, the calibre of which TWS could only dream of having after letting McCormack go.
On top of that we have a good number of very promising young players coming through the development squad if we ever need to dip in there for a bit of depth.
I'm sure a squad of 26 can cope just fine, don't worry about us. We'll enjoy our European adventure whilst you lot are marching on together to the dizzy heights of league one. :doublebird:
