re: Auburn playing in Birmingham

It's about money. Auburn travels well. Same reason Duke used to get such good venues back in the day. Playing in B'ham ain't gonna make Auburn a 40% team from 3 over night. ...
It is difficult. Specific to Vandy when we played them their big got bailed out around the rim so many times in a one score victory it was ridiculous. If Wen and KD got those same calls around the rim we'd have 6 more wins this season. Robbins was 17-20 Vandy was 20-27 We got 10 FT's the ent...
The blind comparison of Auburn and Northwestern resume was interesting yesterday during the TV coverage. Auburn's resume was superior at every level but Northwestern is projected as a 6 seed. ...
Yep...the vandy game was also bad. If the refs bailed out Green and KD the same way they bail out that big kid going to the basket we'd score an extra 8-12 points a game. ...
The last two seasons our late half/game shots or lack of shots have been terrible. I assume we won't get a good look or even a look at all at this point. This game, A&M and UTk the refs did a really poor job...felt purposely slanted. Ha! They had 2 guys ejected and we still ended up loosing more guy...
5-10 vs 20-27 I will admit I hadn't watch the big kid from Sandy all season. I understand after watching him get bailed out all night why he is an all SEC performer. I wish our small guards got those types of calls on the reg. ...
That's my first time watching the big kid from Vandy. If the refs bail him out like that every night I can see why he's playing like an all SEC performer. ...
Anybody know what channel the game is on tomorrow? I'm seeing conflicting info. ...
Yes Tigerman was one of the original haters. Congrats sir
I wasn't so much a hater. He just seemed like all hat and no cattle to me. I couldn't see young men wanting to play for him. It wasn't personal. I hate where things are now and wish he'd have proven me wrong. I liked t...
There was a couple folks that were hell naw on Harsin before a game was played just can’t remember who they were.
Present and accounted for!!!...
I know this Gonzaga team is more physically talented than many in the past but they haven't been through the regular season grind like arkie. I suspect that will serve arkie well in this game. ...
I see you’re back with the “tourney doesn’t actually matter as much” take 99% of everyone disagrees with you, and it’s not because you’re the only one thinking for yourself. It’s because it’s a terrible opinion
I've never said that...I've argued its value increases the further ...
What?? You are really doing some mental gymnastics here.
It isn't. The NCAA has marketed the tournament...it's main money source...for years in a way that people are convinced that winning 3 games potentially against inferior opponents should be celebrated more than winning a seaso...
There is nothing easy in the field of 68. Ask UK, UT, Baylor, Iowa,
Yea, but you can also say Providence, Kansas, Michigan and crazy enough St. Pete have had it relatively easy. Gonzaga also even though they struggled early with Memphis. Every game in the tournament isn't a gri...
Barring a guard collapse Auburn will cruise today
That is basically true of our team. The guards play well we win...they play poorly we lose against good competition. We can survive mediocre competition with poor guard play. They played well Friday...hoping that keeps rolling t...
Like Auburn did? Tennessee? Kentucky?
I'll admit I not sure why that posters is trolling on a team that won the same day they lost, but I suspect they are referencing Oklahoma, Hofstra, Miss St., Vandy, A&M, bama, UTk and A&M again. ...
Calling you verbose would be a complement I guess, instead of calling out your actual empty jaw flapping
Well reasoned retort. ...
No one would say “remember the year Frank Martin finished 4th in the SEC?” They would reference the final 4.
It's an inaccurate comparison. Nobody would suggest devaluing a Final Four run...it is the obsession with the Elite 8 arkie has that is puzzling. It is a good accomplis...
We have 10 Elite Eight's to your 5 Sweet 16's and you're telling us to not be sheep
So you clearly didn't understand the nature of my comment. Not sure why your Elite 8's compared to Auburn's Sweet 16's means anything, but this is a message board. So craft whatever message yo...
